The formation of Zn(II), Cd(II) and Hg(II) complexes was studied with two new hetrocyclic azo ligands 2-[4-(1-sulfonaphthalene)azo]-L-Histidine (L1) and 2-[7-(1-hydroxy3-sulfonaphthalene)azo]-L-Histidine (L2) derived from coupling reaction of diazonium salt of naphthionic acid and 7-amino-1-naphthol-5-sulfonic acid with L-Histidine in an alkaline ethanolic solution. The structural features of all new compounds have been characterized from their elemental analyses, metal content, magnetic moment measurement, molar conductance & FT-IR, UV-Vis. and 1HNMR spectral studies. Therefore, many schemes were introduced with  direct (using net radiometer) or indirect (using air temperature or air plus soil temperatures) formulas. Three combinations of factors are known to control the R_n value; the astronomical based factors which determine the general spatial distribution of R_n values, the climatological factors which determine the assigned spatial variation of those values, and the topographical factors that influence climatological factors rates ( i.e. have indirect effects on Rn values).

A new Schiff base [1-((2-(1H-indol-3-yl)ethylimino)methyl)naphthalene-2-ol] (HL) has been synthesized by condensing (2-hydroxy-1-naphthaldehyde) with (2-(1H-indol-3-yl)ethylamine). In turn, its transition metal complexes were prepared having the general formula; [Pt(IV)Cl2(L)2], [Re(V)Cl2(L)2]Cl and [Pd(L)2], 2K[M(II)Cl2(L)2] where M(II) = Co, Ni, Cu] are reported. A study of non-diatom algal species composition in twelve sites from Greater Zab River path within
Erbil Province, was carried out from April 2021 to January 2022 with monthly sample collection in twelve studied sites. Among them site 4,5,6,7 and 9 are the first for algal study in this area.
