Oxidative stress state during pregnancy period
...Show More Authors

The present study was designed to find the relation between oxidative stress and
pregnancy. The study used one hundred twenty volunteers (ninety pregnant women
and thirty non-pregnant women). Then pregnant women were divided to three
subgroups according to trimester (first trimester, second trimester and third
trimester). then, some oxidative stress factors (MDA, GSH, catalase and TAC) were
measurement. Biochemical tests showed significant (P<0.05) increase in
malonedialdehyied (MDA) and significant (P<0.05) decrease in Glutathione (GSH),
Catalase (CAT) and total antioxidant capacity (TAC) in pregnant women compared
with non-pregnant women group. It was concluded from this study that the
pregnancy led to increased oxidative stress and decreased the antioxidant factors.

Customer Affecting-Satisfaction Factors in Electronic Banking Systems: Three Significantly Selected Research Perspectives
...Show More Authors

The future of the highly competitive global banking is electronic banking via internet. This trend of electronic delivery of banking products and services is necessitated by the customers' demanding more Internet-customized daily transaction. Hence, customer affecting-satisfaction factors need to be thoroughly investigated in order to deliver efficient electronic banking. Consequently, this paper reviewed three approaches to reach the most influential customer affecting-satisfaction factors. These customer affecting-satisfaction approaches are prioritizing based on cause and effect relationships, understanding with the use of a questionnaire survey and better communicating using e-mail and social media. The pool of customer affecting-sat

Clinical and Histopathological Features of Ovarian Cancer in Iraq, Baghdad Between 2014-2020
...Show More Authors

Ovarian cancer is a heterogeneous disease with disparities in clinical performance and consequences. It is a cluster of numerous subtypes with diverse biological topographies that cause alterations in response to treatments, relapse rates, and endurance. This task was designed to investigate the epidemiology of the diagnosed cases of ovarian cancer from 2014 to 2020 in Baghdad. A total of 51 cases of different ovarian cancer samples were collected from Al-Elwea Maternity Hospital and Medical City Teaching Hospital, Baghdad. Clinical information including patients' age, tumor size and location, pathological grade and stage were also collected. Results revealed high incidence of OC in patients at age of ˂55 years for the rate 59%

Clinical and Histopathological Study on Dog's Tumors in Iraq
...Show More Authors

The study was conducted on twenty dogs from variety breeds to estimate the
incidence of tumor mass and determine the risk factors of survey to cases of a year
in veterinary hospital in Baghdad. The most common clinical signs were, ulceration,
bleeding into lesions in addition to drowsiness, anorexia, fever and the others were
depended tumor's location in dog's body like lameness, lacrimation and bloody
constipation etc.
The results showed 70% of the infected dogs were working with military forces
and 30% of them were pet dogs and we found that the highest percentage of tumor
accrued in dogs aged more than 10 years and the females recorded 60% of infection.
Terrier breed had the highest percentage of infection (

Study of Phenotypic and Genotypic Factors of Staphylococcus aureus Clinical Local Isolates
...Show More Authors

The isolates of Staphylococcus aureus were isolated from patients with various infections in hospitals, the isolates were identified and accurately diagnosed by phenotypic examination and biochemical tests, as well Vitek-2, and then genetic detection and diagnosis of many of the pathogenic factors associated with Staphylococcus aureus using conventional polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and testing for association by antibiotic resistance and production of some toxins by Staphylococcus aureus. After performing analysis of statistical, it was set up that the correlation coefficient of the PCR technique using virulence genes, sensitivity test to antibiotics and other virulence factors were significant at p < 0.05, but was insignificant with the

Objective: This study aimed to investigate the relationship between high blood pressure and
different variables, such as (weight, smoking, amount of salt and water taken daily, and number
of hours of natural sleep per person) for young people.
Methodology: The study was conducted on students at the student community of the Technical
Institute in Baquba and the University of Diyala during the period from September 2015
until June 2016. The patients ranged in age from 18-24 years. All data were collected through
a questionnaire that included the main reasons and periodic follow-up of the disease.
Results: The total number of samples was 450.The results showed that 33% of all samples
have high blood pressure. The rel

Social Factors for Delaying the Age of Marriage among Working-Women at the University of Baghdad
...Show More Authors

The phenomenon of delayed marriage triggered the intention of most researchers and specialists to reveal the social factors associated with the spread of this phenomenon in order to identify the characteristics of that phenomenon and the social factors resulting from it. Thus, the current research aims to identify the social factors most related to the delay in marriage age among working-women at the University of Baghdad, represented by family factors, economic factors-professional, psychological factors – subjective, and environmental factors. The researcher also aims to identify the differences in social factors associated with late marriage age for working women at the University of Baghdad in terms of the type of profession (teach

Inelastic longitudinal electron scattering C42 form factors in42Ti nucleus
...Show More Authors

Inelastic longitudinal electron scattering form factors for second
excited state C42 in 42Ti nucleus have been calculated using shell
model theory. Fp shell model space with configuration (1f7/2 2p3/2
1f5/2 2p1/2) has been adopted in order to distribute the valence
particles (protons and neutrons) outside an inert core 40Ca. Modern
model space effective interactions like FPD6 and GXPF1 have been
used to generate model space vectors and harmonic oscillator wave
function as a single particle wave function. Discarder space (core
orbits + higher orbits) has been included in (core polarization effect)
as a first order correction in microscopic theory to measure the
interested multipole form factors via the model

This assignment was created to investigate the characteristics of BC diagnosed in Baghdad from 2018 to 2021. A total of eighty-nine of paraffin embedded tissue blocks of different breast tissue tumors (71 females and 18 males) with their data, were collected from archive of Histopathology Department, Teaching Laboratories of Medical City, Al-Yarmouk Teaching Hospital, and a private laboratory in Baghdad-Iraq. The clinical information regarding age, gender, tumor size, tumor stage and grade, lymph nodes metastasis, in addition to the findings of estrogen receptor (ER), progesterone receptor (PR), human

The study involved 120 women, who were distributed into two groups of breast tumor patients (30 malignant and 30 benign) and a group of controls (60 women). The patients were referred to the Center for Early Detection of Breast Tumor at Al-Alwayia Hospital for Gynecology and Obstetrics (Baghdad) during the period June-December 2011. They were investigated for the frequency of ABO blood group phenotypes, menopausal status, oral contraceptive use, body mass index and family history of breast cancer or other cancers. The results demonstrated that 60.0% of malignant cases clustered after the age 50 years, while it was 20.0% in benign cases. Fifty percent of malignant breast tumor patients reached menopause, while in benign cases, the corresp
