This study deals with the application of surface-consistent deconvolution to the two-dimensional seismic data applied to the Block 11 area within the administrative boundaries of Najaf and Muthanna Governorates with an area of 4822 , the processed seismic data of line (7Gn 21) is 54 km long. The study was conducted within the Processing Department of the Oil Exploration Company. The gap surface- consistent deconvolution was applied using best results of the parameters applied were: The length of the operator 240, the gap operator 24, the white noise 0.01%, the seismic sections of this type showed improvement with the decay of the existing complications and thus give a good continuity of the reflectors at the expense of resolution.Then, spiking surface- consistent deconvolution was applied using the best implementation parameters chosen during the test: operator length 240, gap operator 4, and added white noise 0.01%. This type gave a better estimate of reflectivity in seismic sections with good resolution and loss of continuity compared to gap surface- consistent deconvolution. The application of surface-consistent deconvolution to seismic data showed a significant improvement in data quality by reducing random noise, eliminating variability in emissions due to near-surface irregularities, and improving the estimation of statistics.

The effect of different cutting fluids on surface roughness of brass alloy workpiece during turning operation was carried out in this research. This was performed with different cutting speed, while other cutting parameters had been regarded as constants(feeding rate , and depth of cut). Surface roughness of machined parts that will be tested by electronic surface roughness tester .The results show that the standard coolant gives the best values of surface roughness for fixed cutting speed ,followed by sun flower oil that has approximately the same effect, while the air stream as a coolant gave unsatisfied results for the evaluation of surface roughness.

The incorporation of safety characteristics into the traditional pavement structural design or in the functional evaluation of pavement condition has not been established yet. ... Show MoreThis paper considers the maximum number of weekly cases and deaths caused by the COVID-19 pandemic in Iraq from its outbreak in February 2020 until the first of July 2022. Some probability distributions were fitted to the data. Maximum likelihood estimates were obtained and the goodness of fit tests were performed. Results revealed that the maximum weekly cases were best fitted by the Dagum distribution, which was accepted by three goodness of fit tests. The generalized Pareto distribution best fitted the maximum weekly deaths, which was also accepted by the goodness of fit tests. The statistical analysis was carried out using the Easy-Fit software and Microsoft Excel 2019.
This research presents the results of the tests of the physical, chemical and biological treatments performed on the industrial effluent of Al-Rashid Factory for vegetable oils during January to July, 2010. Some environmental parameters such as temperature, electrical conductivity(ec), Biological oxygen demand(bod), chemical oxygen demand(cod), total suspended solids(tss), dissolved oxygen(o2) and total dissolved solids(tdc) have been investigated.
