Study of Some Plasma Characteristics in Dielectric Barrier Discharge (DBD) System

    In this present paper,  an experimental study of some plasma characteristics in dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) system using several variables, such as different frequencies and using two different electrodes metals(aluminium (Al) and copper (Cu)), is represented. The discharge plasma was produced by an AC power supply source of 6 and 7 kHz frequencies for the nitrogen gas spectrum and for two different electrodes metals(Al and Cu). Optical emission spectrometer was used to study plasma properties (such as electron temperature ( ), electron number density ( ), Debye length ( ), and plasma frequency ( )). In addition, images were analysed for the plasma emission intensity at atmospheric air pressure.

Transformation in International Polar System: Study of the future of the nonpolar system

The study of the future of the international system currently appears, according to scientific data and existing facts in light of the emergence of international actors from non-states and international informal institutions, to be heading towards a non-polarity system and this trend is fueled by many variables to reduce polarity, and it is expected in the future that the international system will turn into a non-polarity.

Theoretical Computation of Electron Density in Laser-Induced Carbon Plasma using Anisimov Model

In this work, electron number density calculated using Matlab program code with the writing algorithm of the program. Electron density was calculated using Anisimov model in a vacuum environment. The effect of spatial coordinates on the electron density was investigated in this study. It was found that the Z axis distance direction affects the electron number density (ne). There are many processes such as excitation; ionization and recombination within the plasma that possible affect the density of electrons. Influence of the homogeneous magnetic field of the laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy of copper plasma

Copper plasma is generated with the existence of an external magnetic field and without its presence utilizing Nd:YAG laser (1064 nm ,9 ns) in different  pulse laser energy which ranges from(100 to 400) mJ in a vacuum. Plasma parameter beta ) is least than 1, this indicates that the existence of magnetic field confinement effect is proven. Note that both the electron temperature and electron density increases with the laser pulse energy increasing , Both are higher in the presence of a magnetic field.

Iron Permeable Reactive Barrier for Removal of Lead from Contaminated Groundwater

The possibility of using zero-valent iron as permeable reactive barrier in removing lead from a contaminated groundwater was investigated. In the batch tests, the effects of many parameters such as contact time between adsorbate and adsorbent (0-240 min), initial pH of the solution (4-8), sorbent dosage (1-12 g/100 mL), initial metal concentration (50-250 mg/L), and agitation speed
(0-250 rpm) were studied. The results proved that the best values of these parameters achieve the maximum removal efficiency of Pb+2 (=97%) were 2 hr, 5, 5 g/100 mL, 50 mg/L and 200 rpm respectively. The Study of Dielectric and Microstructure Properties for Iraqi Kaolin Under the Effects of Binder and Calcinations.

The calcination treatments and a binder of poly acrylic acid PAA (1wt%)
effects on kaolinite particles were investigated through dielectric properties at
1MHz ,quantitative analysis of X-ray diffraction and microstructure. The calcinated
samples at 850°C/3hr and fired at 1350°C/2hr were revealed decrease in broadening
(Full Width at half maximum) FWHM and increase of dielectric constant.
