The result showed that the photoconductivity and photosensitivity increase with increase of annealing temperature. Mishrif formation is a carbonate rock (Limestone and Dolomite) and its thickness reach to 170m. The main reservoir is the lower Mishrif (MB) layer which has medium permeability (3.5-100) md and good porosity (10-25) %. An analytical approach based on field data was used to determine the strength capacity of large diameter bored type piles. Also the deformations and settlements were evaluated for both vertical and lateral loadings. The analytical predictions are compared to field data obtained from a proto-type test pile used at Tharthar –Tigris canal Bridge. They were found to be with acceptable agreement of 12% deviation.

This study deals with the seismic reflection interpretation of Cretaceous Formations in Tuba oil field, southern Iraq, including structural and stratigraphic techniques. The study achieved by using Geofram , Geolog and Petrel software. The interpretation process, of 2-D seismic data and well logs have been used. Based on well logs and synthetic traces two horizons were identified and picked which are the tops of Mishrif and Zubair Formations. These horizons were followed over all the area in order to obtain their structural setting. Petrophysical properties of Mishrif Formation at the Tuba field determined from interpretation of open log data of(Tu-2,3,4,5,6,12,24,and 25) wells. These properties include total (effected) and secondary porosity, as well as moveable and residual oil saturation into invaded and uninvaded zones. According to Petrophysical properties it is possible to divided Mishrif Formation into three reservoir units (RU1,2,and 3) separated by four cap rocks (Bar1,2,3,and 4) .
