An important cognitive process is memory, which is usually connected with the storing and retrieval of information. Different colors and labeling have diverse physiological effects on humans. Our investigation aimed to determine if a change in color or labeling would have a significant effect on memory span and serial recall. However, our results do not support that coloring and labeling have significant impacts on a subject’s memory.

Spectral and linear optical properties for a mixture of Rhodamine B (RB) and Fluorescein Sodium (Na Fl) organic laser dyes were determined at different concentrations 10-3, 10-4 M in ethanol solvent at room temperature. The intensity of absorption range is towards longer wavelengths (red shift). The quantum efficiency diminished while the radiative and fluorescence life time increased when increment concentration, organic laser dyes have a spectrum within the range 540-500 nm. Results demonstrate that a mixture of laser dyes are effective optical materials when contrasted with individual laser dyes. It can be utilized as resonator in cavity lasers.

From these needs, the recommender system applications have arisen. This research proposed a recommender system that uses user's reviews as implicit feedback to extract user preferences from their reviews to enhance personalization in addition to the explicit ratings. Diversity also improved by using k-furthest neighbor algorithm upon user's clusters. The system tested using Douban movie standard dataset from Kaggle, and show good performance.

In this paper, an efficient method for compressing color image is presented. It allows progressive transmission and zooming of the image without need to extra storage. The proposed method is going to be accomplished using cubic Bezier surface (CBI) representation on wide area of images in order to prune the image component that shows large scale variation. Then, the produced cubic Bezier surface is subtracted from the image signal to get the residue component. Then, bi-orthogonal wavelet transform is applied to decompose the residue component.
