The effect of some environment faetor (different temperature and relative humidity) on the biology of the old world- screw worm, were studied under laboratory condition, the result showed that non of the eggs hatched at 15°c and under dried eondition which relative humidity between 20-40%, also result showed that the mature larvae needs one days to become pupa since it leaves the larval died at the temperature ranged between 25-40°C at different humidity rates. This paper includes simulating an electron gun design to investigate the effect of the distance between the cathode and the Wehnelt cylinder bore on the quality of the ion beam emittance and to obtain the best distance of that geometrical factor. A study of a group of designs was conducted to find this distance. The SIMION8.0 program has been used to calculate the trajectories of the electrons with initial kinetic energy of (0.1 eV) and electron current of (1×10-12 A). The investigation also includes comparisons between the equipotential line trajectories for each design as well as the field distribution and the electron trajectories. The best emittance distance was concluded to be (3 mm).

Fifty-Four paddy samples, 45 soil samples, and nine irrigation water samples of some paddy fields at Alfurat Alawsat Area, Iraq were collected to investigate the microbial quality including total count bacteria (TCB), molds and yeast, total coliform (TC), and E. coli bacteria. Paddy samples were processed at the laboratory level to produce rice at 32 and 36 whiteness, and the microbial quality of the produced rice was conducted too. The results showed that all irrigation water samples were overpassed the FDA limit for E. coli. All paddy samples were exceeded the good limit of TCB, but no sample exceeded the acceptable limit.
