Dielectric and gas sensing properties of in situ electrochemically polymerized PPy-MgO-WO3 nanocomposite films

     A polypyrrole-based ammonia-detection gas sensor was studied in this work. Under a 1.6 V electrodeposition potential, polypyrrole (PPy) was electrochemically synthesized from an aqueous solution of 0.1 M pyrrole and 0.1 M oxalic acid. An extension to the polypyrrole films was applied through electrochemical deposition on indium tin oxide (ITO), using the metal oxide nanoparticles of MgO and WO3. These films were investigated for their sensing behavior towards NH3 at different working temperatures and different weight percentages of nanoparticles .The measurements of A.C conductivity were conducted over a frequency range of 101-105 Hz and temperature range of 298-423 K . The highest electrical conductivity was equal to 3.67x10-1 Ω.cm-1 at a temperature of 323 K and frequency of 105H z. The experimental results showed that the sensitivity of the undoped and doped PPy with nanoparticle films to ammonia gas changes with the change in temperature and weight percentage.

The Effect of Cadmium Selenide Thin Film Thickness on Carbon Monoxide Gas Sensing Properties prepared by Plasma DC-Sputtering Technique

     Cadmium Selenide (CdSe) thin films have been deposited on a glass substrate utilizing the plasma DC-sputtering method at room temperature at different deposition time in order to achieve different films thickness, and studied its sensitivity to the  carbon monoxide CO gas which are show high response as the film thickness increases, the DC-conductivity and photoconductivity are also studied and which are increased too as the film thickness increases, that indicates the good semiconducting behavior at room  temperature and light environments.

Dielectric Properties of High Alumina Glass

High   Alumina   Glasses   "Alumina   Silicate   Glasses"   was prepared by utilizing powder technology technique. The starting materials are wasted soda-lime glass from an industrial site, Iraqi­ Duekhla raw kaolin and small amounts of potassium carbonates.

Effect of Dopant Concentration on the Structural, Optical and Sensing Properties of (SnO2)1-x(TiO2:CuO)x Sprayed Films

      Spray pyrolysis technique was subjected to synthesized (SnO2)1-x (TiO2: CuO) x Thin films on different substrates like glass and single crystal silicon using.      This study investigates data set as satellite images of type multispectral Landsat-7, which are observed for AL_Nasiriya city, it is located in southern of Iraq, and situated along the banks of the Euphrates River. These raw data are thermal bands of satellite images, they are taken as thermal images. These images are processed and examined using ENVI 5.3 program. Gas Sensitivity and Optical Detector of Indium Oxide films

In this research, we studied the structural and optical properties of  In2O3 films which prepared by chemical spray pyrolysis method on the glass substrate heated 400  . The effect of annealing temperature 100 for one hour on theses properties are studied. The result of Xray diffraction showed the prepared films were polycrystalline and orientation was (222) before and after annealing, optical properties study for prepared films by using (UV-VIS-NIR) spectrophotometer in the wave length range (300-1100)nm, We found the transmission increases after annealing to 90%. Sensitivity measurement of In2O3 films for gas (CO) and optical detector showed that after annealing at temperature 100 .

A.C Conductivity and Dielectric Properties of Epoxy - TiO2 Nanocomposites

In this paper, A.C conductivity of micro and nano grain size- TiO2 filled epoxy composites is measured. The dielectric material used is epoxy resin, while micro and nano-sized titanium dioxide (TiO2) of grain size (1.5μm, and 50nm) was used as filler at low filler concentrations by weight (3%, and 5%). Additionally the effect of annealing temperature range (293-373)º K and at a frequency range of 102-106 Hz on the A.C conductivity of the various specimens was studied.

Rapid colorimetric sensing of chlorpromazine HCl antipsychotic through <i>in situ</i> growth of gold nanoparticles

This assay rapidly detects chlorpromazine hydrochloride using its ability to reduce gold ions to form nanoparticles. Its low cost, resilience to interferences and short analysis time could facilitate environmental monitoring and biomedical analysis.
