M_n – Polynomials of Some Special Graphs

 Let  be a connected graph with vertices set  and edges set . The ordinary distance between any two vertices of  is a mapping  from  into a nonnegative integer number such that  is the length of a shortest  path. The maximum distance between two subsets  and  of   is the maximum distance between any two vertices  and  such that  belong to  and  belong to . In this paper, we take a special case of maximum distance when  consists of one vertex and  consists of  vertices, . This distance is defined by: where  is the order of  a graph .

     In this paper, we defined  – polynomials based on the maximum distance between a vertex  in  and a subset  that has vertices of a vertex set of  and  – index. Also, we find  polynomials for some special graphs, such as: complete, complete bipartite, star, wheel, and fan graphs, in addition to  polynomials of path, cycle, and Jahangir graphs. Then we determine the indices of these distances.

Synthesis and Characterization of Some Mixed Ligand Complexes of Quinaldic Acid and α-Picoline with Some Metal Salts Basima

Some metal ions (Mn+2, Co+2, Ni+2, Cu+2, Zn+2, Cd+2 and Hg+2) complexes of quinaldic acid (QuinH) and α-picoline (α-Pic) have been synthesized and characterized on the basis of their , FTIR, (U.V-Vis) spectroscopy, conductivity measurements, magnetic susceptibility and atomic absorption. From the results obtained the following general formula has suggested for the prepared complexes [M(Quin)2( α-Pic)2].XH2O where M+2 = (Mn, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Cd and Hg), X = 2, X = zero for (Co+2 and Hg+2) complexes, (Quin-) = quinaldate ion, (α-Pic) = α-picoline. EFFECT OF ERRIGATION WATER SALINITY ON SOME GROWTH AND GRAINS YIELD TRAITS OF SOME OAT CULTIVARS (Avena sativa L.)

Two years field experiment was carried out at Agricultural Fields, College of Agriculture, Baghdad University, Al-Jadriya during 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 to determine the effect of salinity of irrigation water on growth and grain yield of three oat cultivars. The experiments were laid out according to randomized complete blocks design having split plot arrangements with two factors; first factor included three oat cultivars (Shifaa, Hamel and Pimula) while the second factor included three levels of salinity of irrigation water (3, 6 and 9 dS.m-1 ) in addition to the control (river water with salinity level of 1.164 dS.m-1 ) with three replicates. Investigation of Contaminated Bacteria and Some Toxic Elements of Groundwater in Some Wells in the Abu Ghraib Area/Baghdad

A total of 50 wells water samples were collected from 10 wells in Abu Ghraib site/ Baghdad for detection of coliform, fecal coliformand and pseudomonas aeruginosa bacteria, and the pollution of toxic ions (No3-, B+3, pb+2 and Cd+2 ) in wells water. Results showed microbial pollution by coliform, fecal Coliform bacteria in wells water when using presumptive, confirmed and complete tests, P. aeruginosa bacterium was isolated and identificated on Cetrimide Agar media, estimated the Most Probable Number (MPN) of coliforms and P. aeruginosa, results showed difference in mean of (MPN) of wells water. Some Immunological Evaluations of Propolis in Albino Male Mice

Propolis is a complex resinous bee product that has a wide range of biological activities. In the present investigation, two oral doses (10 and 20 mg/kg/day) of propolis (ethanol extract) were evaluated immunologically in albino male mice (80 animals) through three types of experiments. In the first, the propolis was tested alone, while in the second and third experiments, propolis was given before and after the immune suppressive drug MMC (pre- and post treatments, respectively).
