Two new Schiff bases (S1,S2) derived from 2-Amino-2-deoxy chitosamine and mnitrobenzaldehyde

characterized using FTIR, UV and mass spectrometry. New complexes of the
transition metal ions Co (II), Ni (II), Pd (II), Pt (II) with the two ligands were
synthesized and their structures were elucidated depending on atomic absorption,

Compound 1 was then reacted with some hydrazine derivatives to afford the corresponding pyrazole derivatives in 75-93% yields. The Soxhlet method extracted alkaloid compounds from the plant Catharanthus roseus and converted them to the nanoscale. Chitosan polymer was used as a linking material and converted to Chitosan nanoparticles using Sodium TriPolyPhosphate (STPP). The extracted alkaloids were linked with Chitosan nanoparticles CSNPs by maleic anhydride to get the final product (CSNPs- Linker- alkaloids).
