The printed Arabic character recognition are faced numerous challenges due to its character body which are changed depending on its position in any sentence (at beginning or in the middle or in the end of the word). This paper portrays recognition strategies. These strategies depend on new pre-processing processes, extraction the structural and numerical features to build databases for printed alphabetical Arabic characters. The database information that obtained from features extracted was applied in recognition stage. Minimum Distance Classifier technique (MDC) was used to classify and train the classes of characters. The procedure of one character against all characters (OAA) was used in determination the rate of recognition. The suggested approaches have yielded great and encouraging results in terms of accuracy in which the recognition rate reached to 97.28%. These approaches are faster and more efficient than other methods.

This study aims to reveal the similarities and differences between Iraqi and Malay university learners and their genders in producing the supportive moves of criticism. To this end, 30 Iraqi and 30 Malay university learners have participated in this study. A Discourse Completion Test (DCT) and a Focus Group Interview (FGI) are conducted to elicit responses from the participants. Show MoreFour new copolymers were synthesized from reaction of bis acid monomer 3-((4-carboxyphenyl) diazenyl)-5-chloro-2-hydroxybenzoic acid with five diacidhydrazide in presence of poly phosphoric acid. The resulted monomers and copolymers have been characterized by FT-IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR spectroscopy as well as EIMs technique. The number averages of molecular weights of the copolymers are between 4822 and 9144, and their polydispersity indexes are between 1.02 and 2.15. All the copolymers show good thermal stability with the temperatures higher than 305.86 C when losing 10% weight under nitrogen. The cyclic voltammetry (CV) measurement and the electrochemical band gaps (Eg) of these copolymers are found below 2.00 ev.
