     This research aims to study the suitability of the Fatha Formation clay deposits for the brick industry in the Zurbatiya area, Wasit Government. Two sites (Al-Salam police station and Al-Taff station) were selected. The clay deposits were subjected to particle size analysis, atterberg limits, chemical and mineralogical analyses. The samples have 31.45% clay, 52.91% silt, and 15.64% sand. Raw milk is subjected to various physical, chemical and biological pollutants due to produce, a transporting and marketing processes. The current study was designed to examine raw milk samples which were collected from different locations of Iraq. The highest mean value of Pb content [1.801±0.311 ppm] was recorded while the lowest mean value [0.941±0.104 ppm]. The highest mean value [1.532±0.124 ppm] and gave the lowest mean value [0.063±0.044 ppm] of Cd content. The aim of this study is to determine the level of pollution with heavy metals (Cd, Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb, Zn) and their potential sources in dust samples collected from schools in Ramadi City, Iraq. The dust samples were collected from 40 primary schools and two kindergartens and analyzed by using atomic absorption spectrophotometer.
