The drug promethazine hydrochloride (PRZH) forms with rhodium (II) a colored chelate (?max = 472 nm) complex at (pH = 2.1) which is extractable with benzyl alcohol as organic solvent. Under the appropriate experimental conditions a calibration plot was set up from which some analytical parameter were derived and deduced by regression. Standard addition procedure was also adopted. It has been estimated that the concentration of the drug PRZH to be 24.89 mg per unit and 24.19 mg per unit for both calibrations.   The study revealed to the efficiency of some stick traps included standard Williams sticky trap with three modified forms of them, Ribbed cylindrical williams trap , pyramid williams trap and flat williams trap in catching of the house flies in a horsesØŒ stables. The results  showed slight differences between standard Williams traps and Ribbed cylindrical williams trap. This thesis aims to study the effect of addition polymer materials on mechanical properties of self-compacting concrete, and also to assess the influence of petroleum products (kerosene and gas oil) on mechanical properties of polymer modified self-compacting concrete (PMSCC) after different exposure periods of (30 ,60 ,90 ,and 180 days).

Two type of curing are used; 28 days in water for SCC and 2 days in water followed 26 days in air for PMSCC.

Um-Al-Naaj region in Al-Hawiezah Marsh, Southern Iraq was chosen to study the environmental variations of some water characteristics during 2008, seasonally. The results showed clear seasonal changes in values of some environmental variables (temperature, depth, light penetration, turbidity, total suspended solids, pH, dissolved oxygen, reactive phosphate, reactive nitrite, and reactive nitrate), while there were no clear seasonal changes in electrical conductivity and salinity values. Seasonally variations in Physio-chemical parameters of Al-Auda Marsh were investigated from November 2012 to July 2013. In this research examine pH, turbidity, EC, DO, BOD5 and Ca+2, Mg+2, NO2 , NO3 , PO4 , SiO3 ions. Six sites were randomly located and water samples. pH values varied from (7.3 ±0.0) in site 4 during autumn to (8.5±0.5) in site 6 during winter, EC values ranged from (2020±186) μ.s/cm in site 5 during autumn to (6390±875) μ.s/cm in site 6 during summer, mean turbidity data were found to vary from (6.5 ±1.8) NTU in site 4 in summer to (31.0 ±1.6) NTU in site 3 in autumn.
