Aim of the research is the study of improving the performance of the thermal station south Baghdad and the main reasons for reduced its efficiency. South Baghdad power planet comprises (6) steam turbine units and (18) gas turbine units .The gas turbine units are composed of two groups: the first group is made up of gas units (1,2), each of capacity (123) MW. The design efficiency of gas turbine units is 32%. The actual efficiency data of steam units is 18.3% instead of 45% which is the design efficiency. The current research aims to identify the most prominent beliefs about coronavirus of Baghdad University students, as well as to identify the prominent beliefs toward coronavirus of male and female students. To achieve the research objectives, a questionnaire of (15) items was administered to a sample of (600) male and female students collected from ten different colleges at the university of Baghdad. Fuzzy measures are considered important tools to solve many environmental problems. Water pollution is one of the environmental problems, which has negatively effect on the health of consumers. In this paper, a mathematical model is proposed to evaluate water quality in the distribution networks of Baghdad city. Fuzzy logic and fuzzy measures have been applied to evaluate water quality with respect to chemical and microbiological contaminants. Our results are evaluate water pollution of some chemical and microbiological contaminants, which are difficult to evaluation through traditional methods.

This work aimed to study the relation of pentosidine with kidney injury in the case of diabetic nephropathy. This study included 75 patients suffering from T2DM and 75 apparently healthy subjects.
