A Study of Graph Theory Applications in IT Security

The recent developments in information technology have made major changes in all fields. The transfer of information through networks has become irreplaceable due to its advantages in facilitating the requirements of modern life through developing methods of storing and distributing information. This in turn has led to an increase in information problems and risks that threaten the security of the institution’s information and can be used in distributed systems environment.

This study focused on two parts; the first is to review the most important applications of the graph theory in the field of network security, and the second is focused on the possibility of using the Euler graph as a Method Object that is employed in Remote Method Invocation (RMI) technique. This algorithm was compared with the most popular algorithms, such as RSA and 3DES. The results were acceptable and need to be improved in the future.

Bionics-Based Approach for Object Tracking to Implement in Robot Applications

In this paper, an approach for object tracking that is inspired from human oculomotor system is proposed and verified experimentally. The developed approach divided into two phases, fast tracking or saccadic phase and smooth pursuit phase. In the first phase, the field of the view is segmented into four regions that are analogue to retinal periphery in the oculomotor system. Periodic Solutions of the Forest Pest System Via Hopf Bifurcation and Averaging Theory

    This work aims to analyse the dynamic behaviours of the forest pest system. We confirm the forest pest system in plane for limit cycles bifurcating existence from a Hopf bifurcation under certain conditions by using the first Lyapunov coefficient and the second-order of averaging theory. It is shown that all stationary points in this system have Hopf bifurcation points and provide an estimation of the bifurcating limit cycles.

The optimal utilization of lighting factor in the flat photobioreactor for biological applications

Distribution of light intensity in the flat photobioreactor for microalgae cultivation as a step design for production of bio-renewable energy was addressed in the current study. Five sizes of bioreactors with specific distances from the main light source were adopted as independent variables in experiential design model. The results showed that the bioreactor’s location according to the light source, determines the nature of light intensity distribution in the reactor body. However, the cross-section area plays an important role in determining the suitable location of reactor to achieve required light homogeneity. This area could change even the expected response of the light passing through the reactor if Beer-Lambert's law is adopted.
