Evaluation of Calcium Regulating Hormones and Some Biochemical Parameters in Growth Hormone Deficient Patients

The present study aims to evaluate levels of calcium regulating hormones and some biochemical parameters in a sample of growth hormone (GH) deficient patients. Seventy five GH deficient patients and twenty healthy subjects used as a control group have been involved in this study during their attendance at the National Diabetic Centerfor Treatment and Research /Al-Mustansiriya University. The studied subjects were in an age range of 3-15 years. Blood samples were collected from the studied subjects to determine levels of basal GH,GH2. and GH3 after 60 mins. and 90mins. of provocation with clonidine. The study also included the measurement of the levels of insulin like growth factor (IGF-1); calcium regulating hormones [parathyroid hormone (PTH) and vitamin D],and some biochemical parameters [calcium (Ca), phosphorus (P), urea, and creatinine].
Distribution of the studied groups according to gender revealed that most of the GH deficientpatients (60 %) were males while 40 % were females, with the difference being statistically significant (P<0.05), while the control included two equal subgroups (50 % males and 50 % females). Distribution of the studied groups Distribution of the studied groups Distribution of the studied groups Distribution of the studied groups Distribution of the studied groups Distribution of the studied groups Distribution of the studied groups Distribution of the studied groups Distribution of the studied groups Distribution of the studied groups Distribution of the studied groups Distribution of the studied groups Distribution of the studied groups Distribution of the studied groups Distribution of the studied groups Distribution of the studied groups Distribution of the studied groups Distribution of the studied groups Distribution of the studied groups Distribution of the studied groups Distribution of the studied groups Distribution of the studied groups Distribution of the studied groups Distribution of the studied groups Distribution of the studied groups Distribution of the studied groups according to BMI values showed according to BMI values showed according to BMI values showed according to BMI values showed according to BMI values showed according to BMI values showed according to BMI values showed according to BMI values showed according to BMI values showed according to BMI values showed according to BMI values showed according to BMI values showed according to BMI values showed according to BMI values showed according to BMI values showed according to BMI values showed according to BMI values showed according to BMI values showed according to BMI values showed according to BMI values showed according to BMI values showed according to BMI values showed according to BMI values showed according to BMI values showed that the percentage of underweight was significantly (P<0.01) higher in the patients (48%) compared to the control (10%), while the percentage of normal weight was significantly (P<0.01) higher in the control (85%) as compared to the patients (40%).
The results showed highly significant decreases (P<0.01) in the levels of basal GH, GH2 and GH3 in the patients as compared to the control group. Also, IGF-1 levels showed a high significant (P<0.01) decrease in the patients as compared to the control group. The findings of calcium regulating hormones revealed non-significant differences in the levels of PTH and vitamin D between the patients and the control group. Also, the results of the biochemical parameters (Ca, P, urea, and creatinine) showed non-significant differences in their values between the patients and the control group.
It can be concluded from the present study that GH deficiency (GHD) seems to be dominating in the males under weighted patients. The diagnosis of GHD cannot be achieved at the basal GH level.IGF-1 is a reliable marker of GH functions. Finally, levels of calcium regulating hormones are not affected by GHD.

Lie and Jordan Structure in Prime Γ- rings with Γ-centralizing Derivations

Let M be a prime Γ-ring satisfying abc  abc for all a,b,cM and
,  with center Z, and U be a Lie (Jordan) ideal. A mapping d :M M
is called Γ- centralizing if u d u Z  [ , ( )] for all uU and  .In this paper
, we studied Lie and Jordan ideal in a prime Γ - ring M together with Γ -
centralizing derivations on U.

Authorities and Procedures for Detecting Financial Violations : A Study in French Legislation

France attached great importance to public funds Article 15 of the Declaration on Human and Citizen's Rights (DDHC) stipulates that society has the right to hold any public official accountable for his or her administration. For that reason, the French legislature has established a body specialized in the control of public funds, which it calls the Court of Accounting. It has established the Court of Budget and Financial Discipline to assist it. The courts are run by judges who cannot be dismissed. The courts are also given jurisdiction, administrative jurisdiction and the role and purpose for which they have been assigned

Identity Attributes and Strategies in Industrial Product Design: وليد محمد مهدي عيسى

The research discussed the role of interrelationships between the product attributes and the individual identity of the brand and the user, starting from reviewing the identity concepts in the general design propositions and the identity from the industrial design perspective, and highlighting the role of the attributes in identifying the individual identity of the product, which would enable the user to adopt them to be representative of his identity, starting from identifying the importance of the identity being characterized by three major elements: innovating products in the user's viewpoint, viewing the user's environment, the methodology of the design language, and identifying the identity attributes in the industrial product start

Enrollment in kindergarten child accomplishes many positive aspects, that’s what Im sure a lot of modern educational trends in child education preschool in the importance of exposing children to a variety of sensory stimuli that contribute to impart a range of sound concepts.

Current research aims to know:

1.the level of sensory perception in the first primary grade students a sample search.

2.differences in perception of elementary first-graders with variable gender male, female))   3.differences in perception of the first primary grade students attending and not attending kindergarten in accordance with variable attendance (attending, not attending).

Energy and Exergy Analysis on Modified Closed Wet Cooling Tower in Iraq

The present study involves experimental analysis of the modified Closed Wet Cooling Tower (CWCT) based on first and second law of thermodynamics, to gain a deeper knowledge in this important field of engineering in Iraq. For this purpose, a prototype of CWCT optimized by added packing under a heat exchanger was designed, manufactured and tested for cooling capacity of 9 kW. Experiments are conducted to explore the effects of various operational and conformational parameters on the towers thermal performance. In the test section, spray water temperature and both dry bulb temperature and relative humidity of air measured at intermediate points of the heat exchanger and packing. Exergy of water and air were calculated by applying the exergy

In this work, measurements of activity concentration of naturally occurring radioactive materials (NORM) isotopes and their related hazard indices for several materials such as crude oil, sludge and water in Ahdeb oil fields in Waste governorate using high pure germanium coaxial detection technique. The average values for crude oil samples were174.72Bq/l, 43.46Bq/l, 355.07Bq/l, 264.21Bq/l, 122.52nGy/h, 0.7138, 1.1861, 0.601 mSv/y, 0.1503mSv/y and 1.8361 for Ra-226, Ac-228, K-40, Ra eq, D, H-external and H-internal respectively. According to the results; the ratio between 238U to 232Th was 4, which represents the natural ratio in the crust earth; therefore, one can be strongly suggested that the geo-stricture of the

Adenosine Deaminase and Guanine Deaminase: The Potential Role in Diabetic Foot Ulcers

The present study explored the possible role of adenosine deaminase and guanine deaminase in diabetic foot ulcers which is considered one of the main chronic complications of diabetes mellitus. Serum adenosine deaminase, guanine deaminase, and some biochemical parameters were investigated in 54 patients with diabetic foot ulcers and 40 healthy individuals. According to our findings, adenosine deaminase and guanine deaminase activities are much higher in diabetic foot ulcer patients than in healthy individuals. A strong positive correlation was found between adenosine deaminase and guanine deaminase activities. Adenosine deaminase and guanine deaminase had 100% sensitivity and specificity for diagnosing diabetic foot ulcers, and
