Semiprime RΓ-Submodules of Multiplication RΓ-Modules

Let R be a Γ-ring and G be an RΓ-module. A proper RΓ-submodule S of G is said to be semiprime RΓ-submodule if for any ideal I of a Γ-ring R and for any RΓ-submodule A of G such that or which implies that . The purpose of this paper is to introduce interesting results of semiprime RΓ-submodule of RΓ-module which represents a generalization of semiprime submodules.

Purely Small Submodules and Purely Hollow Modules

         The main goal of this paper is to give  a new generalizations for two important classes in the category of modules, namely the class of small submodules and the class of hollow modules. They are purely small submodules and purely hollow modules respectively. Various properties of these classes of modules are investigated. The relationship between purely small submodules and P-small submodules which is introduced by Hadi and Ibrahim, is studied. Moreover, another characterization of  purely hollow modules is considered.

Approximaitly Prime Submodules and Some Related Concepts

In this research note approximately prime submodules is defined as a new generalization of prime submodules of unitary modules over a commutative ring with identity. A proper submodule  of an -module  is called an approximaitly prime submodule of  (for short app-prime submodule), if when ever , where , , implies that either  or . So, an ideal  of a ring  is called app-prime ideal of  if   is an app-prime submodule of -module . Several basic properties, characterizations and examples of approximaitly prime submodules were given. Furthermore, the definition of approximaitly prime radical of submodules of modules were introduced, and some of it is properties were established.

Association of Admission Serum Resistin Level with Acute ST-Segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction in Iraqi Patients

Human resistin is an adipokine, with a possible link to coronary heart disease.A few studies were done about resistin in acute phase of ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) especially in Iraqi patients. Accordingly we design a study to investigate the association between resistin concentration and acute phase of STEMI in Iraqi patients.

The present study was carried out at Al-Yarmouk Teaching Hospital from December 2011 until June 2012. Serum resistin levels were measured in 50 patients with acute STEMI (mean age: 58.16 ± 11.73 years) at the first 12 hours of admission and 34 normal controls (mean age: 53.98 ± 15.46 years) matched for age, sex and other risk factors.

Improving Oral Intake of Essential Oil Blends Using A Novel Formulation of Biodegradable Chitosan/Lecithin Nanoparticles

     A novel, safe and efficient method was developed to encapsulate a blend of essential oils (EOs) into biodegradable nanoparticles (NPs). The biodegradable and biocompatible nanoparticles were made from chitosan (CH) and lecithin (LE) . The quality of the essential oils was verified using gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS). The synthesis of nanoparticles included emulsification, followed by sonication, homogenization, and extrusion.      This study was designed to evaluate the antimicrobial effect of Cymbopogon citratus and Mentha spicata essential oils, separately and mixed, against the microorganisms in yogurt, as well as study the possibility of these essential oils (EO) as natural preservatives and flavors additives/enhancers in yogurt product. Yogurt samples were treated with lemongrass and spearmint EOin different concentrations (250, 500, 1000 ppm: 6250µg/50 ml yogurt, 12500 µg/50 ml yogurt and 25000 µg/50 ml yogurt respectively). The control and treated samples were preserved both at room (25°C) and refrigerator (5°C)  temperatures.
