This research aims to study the optical characteristics of semiconductor quantum dots (QDs) composed of CdTe and CdTe/CdSe core-shell structures. It utilizes the refluxed method to synthesize these nanoscale particles and aims to comprehend the growth process by monitoring their optical properties over varied periods of time and pH 12. Specifically, the optical evolution of these QDs is evaluated using photoluminescence (PL) and ultraviolet (UV) spectroscopy.      The nuclear size radii, density distributions and elastic electron scattering charge form factors for Fluorine isotopes (^{17,19,20,24,26}F) were studied using the radial wave functions (WF) of harmonic-oscillator (HO) potential and free mean field described by spherical Hankel functions (SHF) for the core and the valence parts, respectively for all aforementioned isotopes. The parameters for HO potential (size parameter ) and SHF were chosen to regenerate the available experimental size radii. It was found that using spherical Hankel functions in our work improved the calculated results quantities in comparison with empirical data.

Since the inflammatory factor IL-6 known by its critical role in different metabolic reactions in the
body, therefore, this study was designed to detect it is effect in the thyroid gland function by
injecting three groups of rats, the first with IL-6 , the second with carbimazole (antithyroid drug) and
the third with normal saline (Control).The experiment included three groups of rat; each was injected
with recombinant human interleukin-6 (rhIL-6), Carbimazole, or normal saline (Control). The results
of experiments showed that both IL-6 and carbimazole caused a decrease in the levels of thyroid
hormones (T3 and T4) in animal sera, and a significant decrease in animal body weight, but had no
effect on the liver weight

The fluorescence and absorption spectra of Fluoranthene dissolved in
cyclohexane and ethanol were studied and analyzed. The effect of the
concentration of this molecule and the polarity of the solvents on the spectral
shifts and on relative intensity has been investigated. A computational program
was written in order to convert the spectra from grapher to data. Some
photophysical parameters such as oscillator strength and quantum efficiency have
been calculated. Fluorescence quantum efficiency of Fluoranthene was measured
relative to Quinine Sulfate (QS) in 1N H2SO4. The obtained values were (0.5) in
