The effect of toxoplasmosis infection on liver and kidney functions among pregnant women in Abo-Gharib District- Iraq was studied. Forty women that had positive test for toxoplasmosis by ELISA test were participated in this study. Also control group of apparently healthy women was selected (ten total women). This group had negative test for toxoplasmosis (ELISA test). The venous blood was collected from each patient and control individual to obtain serum. Liver function was evaluated by the estimation of serum aspartate aminotransferase (AST/GOT), serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT/ GPT) and serum alkaline Phosphatase (ALP) activities. Kidney function was evaluated by the estimation of serum creatinine and urea concentrations by the enzymatic methods.
The results show that there is a significant (P< 0.05) increase in the means of AST, ALT and ALP activities as well as urea and creatinine concentrations in the serum of toxoplasmosis women compared with control group.
In conclusion, this study indicates that toxoplasmosis affects liver and kidney functions as evidenced by the significant increase in the levels of some biochemical parameters in patients group; this may possibly affect some specific enzyme systems, which can, consequently, exhibit serious pathology, including hepatitis, pneumonia, blindness and severe neurological disorders.
Gas adsorption phenomenon on solid surface has been used as a mean in separation and purification of gas mixture depending on the difference in tendencies of each component in the gas mixture to be adsorbed on the solid surface according to its behaviour. This work concerns to study the possibilities to separate the gas mixture using adsorption-desorption phenomenon on activated carbon. The experimental results exhibit good separation factor at temperature of -40 .

Es beschreibt die Schwierigkeiten eines Offiziers, der bestraft wurde. Er verlor seinen Job und auch seine Ehre. Minna ist seine Verlobte, die ihn suchte und auch neben ihm stehen wollte. This study was designed to compare the effect of two types of viral hepatitis A and E (HAV
and HEV) on liver functions in Iraqi individuals by the measurement of biochemical changes
associated with hepatitis.
The study performed on 58 HEV and 66 HAV infected patients compared with 28 healthy
subjects. The measured biochemical tests include total serum bilirubin, serum transminases (ALT

Preparation of identical independent photons is the core of many quantum applications such as entanglement swapping and entangling process. In this work, Hong-Ou-Mandel experiment was performed to evaluate the degree of indistinguishability between independent photons generated from two independent weak coherent sources working at 640 nm. The visibility was 46%, close to the theoretical limit of 50%. The implemented setup can be adopted in quantum key distribution experiments carried out with free space as the channel link, as all the devices and components used are operative in the visible range of the electromagnetic spectrum.
This study investigates the possibility of removing ciprofloxacin (CIP) using three types of adsorbent based on green-prepared iron nanoparticles (Fe.NPs), copper nanoparticles (Cu. Fourty three isolates ( 20.7%) characterized as Staphylococcus aureus , were isolated from 207 different clinical sources (blood , nose, , wound , urine , vaginal, ear and eye) in different percentages (30.23, 18.60, 16.28, 13.95, 15.15, 6.96 and 2.33 %), respectively.
