Based on the density functional theory (DFT) , the stability of molecular complexes has been predicted according to hard-soft acid base (HSAB) theory. Relative stability of products and reactivity of soft base sulfide derivatives with halogens (Iodine , Bromine , Chlorine) as soft acid was studied to determine the relative ability of these reactants causing the reaction to be more spontaneous.
DFT at the levels of B3LYP/3-21G and B3LYP/3-21G (d) was used to study HOMO LUMO energy gaps , bonds length and total energy to calculate the softness sequence of each type of acid or base mentioned in this work. But in Russian, Arabic and other languages there is an interesting phenomenon, which consists in the fact that one word has two opposite meanings. Such a phenomenon in linguistics is called enantiosemy (from the Greek words enantios - "opposite" and sema - "sign")

This study presents an adaptive control scheme based on synergetic control theory for suppressing the vibration of building structures due to earthquake. The control key for the proposed controller is based on a magneto-rheological (MR) damper, which supports the building. According to Lyapunov-based stability analysis, an adaptive synergetic control (ASC) strategy was established under variation of the stiffness and viscosity coefficients in the vibrated building.
