New Turbidimetric-Continuous Flow Injection Analysis Method for The Determination of Chlorpromazine HCl in Pharmaceutical Preparation Using Linear Array Ayah 5SX1-T-1D-CFI Analyser
...Show More Authors

A new turbidimetric-flow injection method is described for the determination of chlorpromazine HCl in pure and pharmaceutical preparation. The method is characterized by simplicity, sensitivity and fast, it is based on formation of ion pair compound between chlorpromazine HCl and Potassium hexacyanoferrate(III) in an acid medium for the formation of greenish yellow precipitate. This precipitate was determined using homemade Linear Array Ayah 5SX1-T-1D continuous flow injection analyser. Optimum concentrations of chemical reactants, physical instrumental conditions have been investigated. The linear dynamic range of chlorpromazine HCl was 3-30 mmol.L-1 while correlation coefficient (r) was 0.9929 and percentage linearity (%r2) C.O.D was 98.59%. Limit of Detection (S/N=3) 3×10-7 M/sample equivalent to 0.12 g/sample from the stepwise dilution of minimum concentration for the lowest concentration in the linear dynamic range of the calibration graph with R.S.D.% (n=6) < 2% for concentration 8 and 10 mmol.L-1. The method was applied successfully for the determination of chlorpromazine HCl in pharmaceutical drugs. A comparison was made between the developed method with the official method via the use of paired t-test. It shows that there were no significant differences between either methods. Therefore the newly developed method (K3[Fe(CN)6]-HCl-Chlorpromazine HCl) can be adopted as an alternative method for determination of Chlorpromazine HCl.

Determination of the Optimum Conditions for the Production of Gamma Alumina (ɤ-Al2O3) By the Precipitation Method of the Sodium Aluminate Solution
...Show More Authors

Design of experiments (DOE) was made by Minitab software for the study of three factors used in the precipitation process of the Sodium Aluminate solution prepared from digestion of α-Al2O3  to determine the optimum conditions to a produce Boehmite which is used in production of ɤ-Al2O3 during drying and calcination processes, the factors are; the temperature of the sodium aluminate solution, concentration of HCl acid added for the precipitation and the pH of the solution at which the precipitation was ended. The design of the experiments leads to 18 experiments.

The results show that the optimum conditions for the precipitation of the sodium aluminate solution which

Homotopy Transforms Analysis Method for Solving Fractional Navier- Stokes Equations with Applications
...Show More Authors

The presented work includes the Homotopy Transforms of Analysis Method (HTAM). By this method, the approximate solution of nonlinear Navier- Stokes equations of fractional order derivative was obtained.  The Caputo's derivative was used in the proposed method. The desired solution was calculated by using the convergent power series to the components. The obtained results are demonstrated by comparison with the results of Adomain decomposition method, Homotopy Analysis method and exact solution, as explained in examples (4.1) and (4.2). The comparison shows that the used method is powerful and efficient.

Approximate Numerical Solutions for Linear Volterra Integral Equations Using Touchard Polynomials
...Show More Authors

In this paper, Touchard polynomials (TPs) are presented for solving Linear Volterra integral equations of the second kind (LVIEs-2k) and the first kind (LVIEs-1k) besides, the singular kernel type of this equation. Illustrative examples show the efficiency of the presented method, and the approximate numerical (AN) solutions are compared with one another method in some examples. All calculations and graphs are performed by program MATLAB2018b.

Numerical Solution for Linear Fredholm Integro-Differential Equation Using Touchard Polynomials
...Show More Authors

A new method based on the Touchard polynomials (TPs) was presented for the numerical solution of the linear Fredholm integro-differential equation (FIDE) of the first order and second kind with condition. The derivative and integration of the (TPs) were simply obtained. The convergence analysis of the presented method was given and the applicability was proved by some numerical examples. The results obtained in this method are compared with other known results.

New White Method of Parameters and Reliability Estimation for Transmuted Power Function Distribution
...Show More Authors

In this paper, an estimate has been made for parameters and the reliability function for Transmuted power function (TPF) distribution through using some estimation methods as proposed new technique for white, percentile, least square, weighted least square and modification moment methods. A simulation was used to generate random data that follow the (TPF) distribution on three experiments (E1 , E2 , E3)  of the real values of the parameters, and with sample size (n=10,25,50 and 100) and iteration samples (N=1000), and taking reliability times (0< t < 0) . Comparisons have been made between the obtained results from the estimators using mean square error (MSE). The results showed the

Study the adsorption of diphenhydramine – HCl on Iraqi bauxite
...Show More Authors

Drug overdose and poisoning are common clinical problems and could occur with Diphenhydramine hydrochloride (DFH) (one of anti histaminic drug ). It therefore important to study the adsorption of the DFH on pharmaceutical adsorbents which could serve as possible antidotes for the emergency treatment of DFH overdose or poisoning when they occur. The rate and extent of adsorption of DFH on some pharmaceutical adsorbents, bauxite were investigated spectra photometrically also the effect temperature, pH, presence of sucrose as additive have been studied as well, adsorbent's weight and partical size. The equilibrium adsorption contact times were determined for clay surface. Adsorption isotherms have been analyzed by the freundlich model. The appa

Unsteady Heat Transfer Analysis on The MHD Flow of A Second Grade Fluid in A Channel with Porous Medium
...Show More Authors

The aim of this paper is to analyzed unsteady heat transfer for magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) flow of a second grade fluid in a channel with porous medium. The equations which was used to describe the flow are the momentum and energy, these equations were written to get thier non dimentional form. Homotopy analysis method (HAM) is employed to obtain a semi-analytical solutions for velocity and heat transfer fields. The effect of each dimensionless parameter upon the velocity and temperature distributions is analyzed and shown graphically by using MATHEMATICA package.

Groundwater Flow-Modeling and Sensitivity Analysis in a Hyper Arid Region
...Show More Authors

Groundwater modelling is particularly challenging in arid regions where limited water recharge is available. A fault zone will add a significant challenge to the modelling process. The Western Desert in Iraq has been chosen to implement the modelling concept and calculate the model sensitivity to the changes in aquifer hydraulic properties and calibration by researching 102 observations and irrigation wells. MODFLOW-NWT, which is a Newtonian formulation for MODFLOW-2005 approaches, have been used in this study. Further, the simulation run has been implemented using the Upstream-Weighting package (UPW) to treat the dry cells. The results show sensitivity to the change of the Kx value for the major groundwater discharge flow. Only abo
