Tea is one of the important liquids that people drink. In Iraq, tea is the main beverage after water. The tea plant is known scientifically as Camellia sinensis, when planting and during growth needs to fertilizers, which contents remarkable amounts of Uranium. So it became important to study the concentrations of uranium found in tea. Eight samples of tea had been taking, which represent the most important species used in the Iraqi kitchen, and the Uranium concentrations were measured. The results showed that the average concentration of uranium for all samples were1.005 mg/L, while the average of the annual effective dose was 0.221 mSν/y. The results also indicated that green tea possesses small concentration of Uranium compared with other species.
Eight patients (3 male and 5 female) were treated in this study by Endovenous Laser Ablation (EVLA); Mathematical models are proposed to estimate the applied laser power and to assess the recovery period. The estimations of the applied laser power and recovery period in these models will be depended mainly on the diameter of the incompetent vein. In addition, Excel Program was utilized to find the proposed models. A 1470 nm diode laser up to 15W continuous power (CW) was used in the treatment of venous ulcers by EVLA procedure. This paper investigates the interaction between fiscal and monetary policy in Iraq after 2003 using the prisoner’s dilemma.The paper aims to determine the best form of coordination between these policies to achieve their goals; payoff matrix for both policies was constructed. Abstract
Theoretically, the aim of the paper is identify linguistic expressions, such as proverbs, wise sayings, and popular sayings, used by the playwright A. N. Ostrovsky , along with their translations into Arabic by the Iraqi translator Abdullah Habbah and the Syrian translator HashimHumadi.
