Tea is one of the important liquids that people drink. In Iraq, tea is the main beverage after water. The tea plant is known scientifically as Camellia sinensis, when planting and during growth needs to fertilizers, which contents remarkable amounts of Uranium. So it became important to study the concentrations of uranium found in tea. Eight samples of tea had been taking, which represent the most important species used in the Iraqi kitchen, and the Uranium concentrations were measured. The results showed that the average concentration of uranium for all samples were1.005 mg/L, while the average of the annual effective dose was 0.221 mSν/y. The results also indicated that green tea possesses small concentration of Uranium compared with other species.
Spectrophotometric methods were developed for the determination of rantidine-HCl in pharmaceutical tablets. These methods were based on the reaction of DDQ and p-chloranil with rantidine-HCl, resulting in the formation of an orange-red and purple colored products which are quantified spectrophotometrically at 460 and 540nm in DDQ and p-chloranil, respectively. A graph of absorbance versus concentration show that Beer’s law is obeyed in a concentration ranges of 20-160 and (30-120)ïg/ml with molar absorptivities of 2.631 x 103 and 1.052 x 103l .mol-1-cm-1 for DDQ and p-chloranil, respectively. A simple, accurate and precise spectrophotometric method has been proposed for the determination of Mefenamic acid(MA) in dosage forms. Proposed method based on the reaction of cited drug with 1,2-Naphthoquinone-4-Sulfonic sodium (NQS). The optimum experimental condition have been studied. Beer's Law is obeyed in the concentration range 0.5-10.0 µg/mL at 450nm with detection limit of 0.189µg/mL. Effect of pH, reaction time, and volume of NQS on the determination of Mefenamic acid, have been examined. The proposed method has been successfully applied for the determination of Mefenamic acid in pharmaceutical preparations.
Leucocytes Migration Inhibition test in agarose was carried against PPD and Mycobacterium tuberculosisantigen . The proportion of different Kinds of migrating leucocytes was calculated and expressed as a function of the migration distance . In this paper, we define a cubic positive implicative-ideal, a cubic implicative-ideal and a cubic commutative-ideal of a semigroup in KU-algebra as a generalization of a fuzzy (positive implicative-ideal, an implicative-ideal and a commutative-ideal) of a semigroup in KU-algebra. Some relations between these types of cubic ideals are discussed. Also, some important properties of these ideals are studied. Finally, some important theories are discussed.
