Synthesis and Characterization of Some New Derivatives From 2-Mercaptobenzoxazole

In this work 2-mercaptobenzoxazole (2-MBO) (1), was prepared by using homemade Auto clave .The synthesis involve treatment of 2-MBO with 2-chloro acetyl chloride to give 2-chloroacetyl thio benzoxazole (2), the product was treated with phenyl hydrazine to give 2-phenyl hydrazide acetyl thio benzoxazole (3). The new derivatives (4-13) were synthesized by reaction of 2-phenyl hydrazide acetyl thio benzoxazole (3) with different aromatic aldehydes in the presence of acetic acid. The compound (2) was treated with hydrazine hydrate to give product (14) then treated with different aromatic aldehydes in the presence of glacial acetic acid to give Schiff bases derivatives (15-24). Structure of all the prepared compounds confirmation were proved using (FT-IR), (1H-NMR), (13C-NMR) spectra and elemental analysis (C .H .N.S) in addition to melting points.

Determination of Operating Characteristics of 540 and 540E PTO Applications in Disc Type Silage Machines

In this study, performance characteristics such as power take off (PTO) power consumption, fuel consumption, fuel consumption for the unit field-unit product were determined at different working speeds with two different PTO applications (540 and 540E) in a single row disc type silage machine. In particular, the 540E PTO application greatly reduces fuel consumption for unit work. The best results in terms of hourly fuel consumption were achieved in 540E PTO application and V1 working speed. When the field - product fuel consumption is evaluated, the best results were obtained with the 540E PTO application at the V3 working speed. Ab–Initio large unit cell calculations of the electronic structure of Si and Ge nanocrystals

Ab – initio restricted Hartree - Fock method within the framework of large unit cell (LUC) formalism is used to investigate the electronic structure of Si and Ge nanocrystals. The surface and core properties are investigated. A large unit cell of 8 atoms is used in the present analysis. Cohesive energy, energy gap, conduction and valence band widths are obtained from the electronic structure calculations. The results are compared with available experimental data and theoretical results of other investigators. Abstract<p>Two tests were carried out to measure the standard flat fan nozzles wear during a specific period of an accelerated wear procedure. The first test aimed at getting 10% increase in the flow rate compared to the nominal flow rate, which is the threshold to replace the nozzles according to the nozzles testing standards. The second test was to wear the nozzles intensively (100 hours of accelerated wear), which represents the use of nozzles beyond the allowed threshold.
