Background: Fibromyalgia syndrome (FMS) is a common rheumatologic syndrome with multiple systemic manifestations & associated with many diseases. The aim of the study is to assess the relationship between FMS and BMI (Body mass index) in a sample of Iraqi patients.
Patients and Methods: Fifty patients with FMS, 46 (92%) females and 4 (8%) males; their mean age (47.44), and 25 healthy control individuals were studied; 13 (52%) are females and 12 (48%) are males, their mean ages (41.4) years. Thirty six bacteria were isolated from various sourcesc (soil, starch, cooked rice and other foods) and subjected to a series of primary screening tests to obtain the optimal isolation to production of amylase. The volume of producing zone by logal indicator for (Seven) isolates of the secondary screening by measuring the enzymatic activity and specific enzymatic activity. This study aims to isolate the pathogenic yeasts from genital tract and investigate their relationship with the age .The results clarified that the most pathogenic yeast isolated from genital tract was Candida albicans , also the results of C.albicanas isolates susceptibility test, to different antifungal revealed that they were sensitive to Miconazole, Ketoconazole and Clotrimazol and were resistant to Nystatin and Grisofulvin.
