Synthetic routes to a series of tin compounds incorporating nitrogen-based
chelating ligands are described. The β-diketiminato tin chloride precursor was
utilized to isolate the first tin-phosphorus tin compound using this ligand,
[(HC{C(Me)NAr}2)SnPPh2]. A diamide ligand was employed to investigate tin (II)
and (IV) compounds. Two tin (II) and (IV) compounds, [(Me2Si{ArN}2)SnPh2] and
[Li(OEt)2](Me2Si{ArN}2)SnPh2], were formed via reaction of the lithiated
preligand, [Me2Si{ArNLi}2]+Sn(IV). Finally a novel Sn(II) N-heterocyclic
stannylene compound was formed by reaction of the preligand with SnCl4.
The diamide ligand was found to be suitable for both Sn(IV) and Sn(II)
compounds. Reaction to obtain the tin dichloride compound resulted in the
formation of [Li(OEt2)2][LSnCl3], which was characterised to be the chloro-bridged
lithium chloride adduct of the desired compound. To gain more information on this
reaction it was repeated with SnCl2Ph2 to attain the tin diphenyl analogue, which
was established with no problems. Reaction to generate a N-heterocylic stannylene
was extremely interesting, as this compound has great potential for further reactivity
both independently and with regards to the aim of this product, which was to
generate a tin-phosphorus multiple bond.

Indium antimony (InSb) alloy were prepared successfully. The InSb films were prepared by flash thermal evaporation technique on glass and Si p-type substrate at various substrate temperatures (Ts= 423,448,473, and 498 K). The compounds concentrations for prepared alloy were examined by using Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS) and X-ray fluorescence (XRF). Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) observations of porous silicon layers were obtained before and after rapid thermal oxidation process. Chemical Bath Deposition (CBD) of CdS thin film on to
monocrystalline silicon substrate. XRD measurements approved that
CdS film is changing the structure of CdS films from mixed
hexagonal and cubic phase to the hexagonal phase with [101]
predominant orientation. I-V characterization of the hetrojunction
shows good rectification, with high spectral responsivity of 0.41
A/W, quantum efficiency 90%,and specific detectivity 2.9*1014

Powder of silver nanoparticles was prepared by Sol - Gel method successfully using silver nitrate , (AgNO3) gesture is added to sodium citrate (C6H5O7Na3) as a reducing agent and by using Magnetic Stirrer to mix the solutions and heated then using centrifuge machine to separate the silver nanoparticles from solution .It is then dried in an oven at a temperature 40oC for 24 hours. Various nutritional solutions given to patients contain amino acids. Possible interference of this supplementation with selected aminoglycoside antiboiotics, namely gentamycin and streptomycin was evaluated in vitro. In minimal medium, E.coli was inhibited by gentamycin and by streptomycin. Circumvention of this inhibition was obtained with a mixture of 20 amino acids in the medium.
