Finding Best Clustering For Big Networks with Minimum Objective Function by Using Probabilistic Tabu Search
...Show More Authors

Fuzzy C-means (FCM) is a clustering method used for collecting similar data elements within the group according to specific measurements. Tabu is a heuristic algorithm. In this paper, Probabilistic Tabu Search for FCM implemented to find a global clustering based on the minimum value of the Fuzzy objective function. The experiments designed for different networks, and cluster’s number the results show the best performance based on the comparison that is done between the values of the objective function in the case of using standard FCM and Tabu-FCM, for the average of ten runs.

Subsurface Flow Phytoremediation Using Barley Plants for Water Recovery from Kerosene-Contaminated Water: Effect of Kerosene Concentration and Removal Kinetics
...Show More Authors

A phytoremediation experiment was carried out with kerosene as a model for total petroleum hydrocarbons. A constructed wetland of barley was exposed to kerosene pollutants at varying concentrations (1, 2, and 3% v/v) in a subsurface flow (SSF) system. After a period of 42 days of exposure, it was found that the average ability to eliminate kerosene ranged from 56.5% to 61.2%, with the highest removal obtained at a kerosene concentration of 1% v/v. The analysis of kerosene at varying initial concentrations allowed the kinetics of kerosene to be fitted with the Grau model, which was closer than that with the zero order, first order, or second order kinetic models. The experimental study showed that the barley plant designed in a subsu

Green Synthesis Of Bimetallic Iron/Copper Nanoparticles Using Ficus Leaves Extract For Removing Orange G(OG) Dye From Aqueous Medium
...Show More Authors

This study shows that it is possible to fabricate and characterize green bimetallic nanoparticles using eco-friendly reduction and a capping agent, which is then used for removing the orange G dye (OG) from an aqueous solution. Characterization techniques such as scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDAX), X-Ray diffraction (XRD), and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) were applied on the resultant bimetallic nanoparticles to ensure the size, and surface area of particles nanoparticles. The results found that the removal efficiency of OG depends on the G‑Fe/Cu‑NPs concentration (0.5-2.0 g.L-1), initial pH (2‑9), OG concentration (10-50 mg.L-1), and temperature (30-50 °C). The batch experiments showed

Comparison of Physical Properties, Energetic, Vibration Frequencies and Normal Coordinates, for Construction Units of Fullerene C60 Using Quantum Mechanical Calculations
...Show More Authors

PM3 semiempirical method and Density Functional Theory (DFT) calculations of the type (B3LYP) and a Gaussian basis set (6-311G) were carried out for fullerene C60 molecule with its construction units (5radialene, 1,2,3-trimethylene indan, and corannulene), to evaluate the geometrical structure (bond lengths, symmetry, and energetic such as heat of formation ΔH0f, total energy Etot., dipole moment μ, EHOMO (highest occupied molecular orbital energy), ELUMO (lowest unoccupied molecular orbital energy), energy gap ΔEHOMO-LUMO), the distribution of electron density and vibration frequencies, all at their equilibrium geometries. Assignment of the vibrations modes was done according to the movement of the atoms as a result of DFT calculatio

Calculations of the Quadrupole Moments for Some Nitrogen Isotopes in p and psd Shell Model Spaces Using Different Effective Charges
...Show More Authors

The electric quadrupole moments for some nitrogen isotopes (12,14,15,16,18N) are
studied by shell model calculations with the proton-neutron formalism. Theoretical
calculations performed using the different set of effective charges due to the core
polarization effect. The effective charges in the p-shell nuclei are found to be
slightly different from those in the sd-shell nuclei. Most of the results we have
obtained are underestimated with the measured data for the isotopes considered in
this work.

Dynamical Analysis Within-Host and Between-Host for HIV\AIDS with the Application of Optimal Control Strategy: Dynamical analysis within-host and between-host for an HIV\AIDS
...Show More Authors

The aims of this paper is investigating the spread of AIDS both within-host, through the contact between healthy cells with free virus inside the body, and between-host, through sexual contact among individuals and external sources of infectious. The outbreak of AIDS is described by a mathematical model consisting of two stages. The first stage describes the within-host spread of AIDS and is represented by the first three equations. While the second stage describes the between-host spread of AIDS and represented by the last four equations. The existence, uniqueness and boundedness of the solution of the model are discussed and all possible equilibrium points are determined. The local asymptotic stability (LAS) of the model is studied, wh

The Effect of using 940 nm Diode Laser in Comparison with Endoactivator on Radicular Dentin Permeability and Smear Layer Removal (An in Vitro Study)
...Show More Authors

Abstract: The aim of this study is to assess the effectiveness of 940 nm diode laser in comparison to Endoactivator in elimination of smear layer in terms of radicular dentin permeability and ultra-structural changes of root canal walls by SEM evaluation. Twenty-eight single-rooted extracted lower premolars were instrumented up to size X4 (protaper Next, Dentsaply) and divided into two experimental groups according to the irrigation system, G1; activated by EndoActivator and G2; activated by Diode laser 940 nm, CW mode, 1.7 W. Afterward, the roots were made externally impermeable, filled with 2%methylene blue dye, divided horizontally into three segments representing the apical, middle, and coronal thirds then examined under stereo- micr

Measuring Lower Uterine Segment Thickness Using Abdominal Ultrasound to Predict Timing of Cesarean Section in Women with Scarred Uterus at Elwiya Maternity Teaching Hospital
...Show More Authors

Background: Ultrasonography has been used to examine the thickness of the lower uterine segment in women with previous cesarean sections in an attempt to predict the risk of scar dehiscence during subsequent pregnancy. The predictive value of such measurement has not been adequately assessed. Objectives: To correlate lower uterine segment thickness measured by trans abdominal ultrasound in pregnant women with previous cesarean section with that measured during cesarean section by caliper and to find out minimum lower uterine segment thickness indicative of integrity of the scar. Methods: A prospective observational study at Elwyia Maternity Teaching Hospital, from January 2011 to January 2012. A total of 143 women were enrolled in the stu
