A group of acceptance sampling to testing the products was designed when the life time of an item follows a log-logistics distribution. The minimum number of groups (k) required for a given group size and acceptance number is determined when various values of Consumer’s Risk and test termination time are specified. All the results about these sampling plan and probability of acceptance were explained with tables.

The neutron, proton, and matter densities of the ground state of the proton-rich ²³Al and ²⁷P exotic nuclei were analyzed using the binary cluster model (BCM). Two density parameterizations were used in BCM calculations namely; Gaussian (GS) and harmonic oscillator (HO) parameterizations. In the present work, different thicknesses of CdS film were prepared by chemical bath deposition. Z-Scan technique was used to study the nonlinear refractive index and nonlinear absorption coefficients. Linear optical testing were done such as transmission test, and thickness of films were done by the interference fringes (Michelson interferometer). Z-scan experiment was performed at 650nm using CW diode laser and at 532nm wavelength. The results show the effect of self-focusing and defocusing that corresponds with nonlinear refraction n2. The effect of two-photon absorption was also studied, which correspond to the nonlinear absorption coefficient B.

In this paper, the rotation curve of the Milky Way galaxy has been determined using the observed HI emission line at a wavelength of 21 cm. Particularly, the Tangent Point Method was used in order to measure the rotational velocity and the distance to the center of the Milky Way. The measured rotation curve showed that the rotational velocity remains approximately constant at large distances from the center of the Galaxy. This is actually an evidence for the existence of dark matter in the halo of the Milky Way. If all the matter in the Milky Way is visible, then the behavior of the rotation curve of the galaxy should experience a Keplerian decline. The kinetics of nickel removal from aqueous solutions using a bio-electrochemical reactor with a packed bed rotating cylinder cathode was investigated. The effects of applied voltage, initial nickel concentration, the rotation speed of the cathode, and pH on the reaction rate constant (k) were studied. The results showed that the cathodic deposition occurred under mass transfer control for all values of the applied voltage used in this research. Accordingly, the relationship between concentration and time can be represented by a first-order equation.
