In this research, a qualitative seismic processing and interpretation is made up
through using 3D-seismic reflection data of East-Baghdad oil field in the central part
of Iraq. We used the new technique, this technique is used for the direct hydrocarbons
indicators (DHI) called Amplitude Versus Offset or Angle (AVO or AVA) technique.
For this purposes a cube of 3D seismic data (Pre-stack) was chosen in addition to the
available data of wells Z-2 and Z-24. These data were processed and interpreted by
utilizing the programs of the HRS-9* software where we have studied and analyzed
the AVO within Zubair Formation. Many AVO processing operations were carried
out which include AVO processing (Pre-conditioning for gathers), AVO modeling
and AVO analysis. Analyzing these variations in amplitude within offset or with angle
(AVA), reveals the identification of one type of reservoir which is related to the fluid
contents and lithology.
The research is aimed at investigating how the New York Times framed the war against ISIS in its news coverage and which news sources it adopted while reporting on this war.
The research could be classified under descriptive researches. The survey methodology has been adopted and the content analysis has been used. The research sample consists of all the news stories the New York Times have published about the war against ISIS from 10/17/2016 to 4/16/2017 according to the comprehensive sampling method. The number of news stories that were analyzed was (155) news story. The research tool was (coding scheme).

The aim of this research is to estimate the parameters of the linear regression model with errors following ARFIMA model by using wavelet method depending on maximum likelihood and approaching general least square as well as ordinary least square. We use the estimators in practical application on real data, which were the monthly data of Inflation and Dollar exchange rate obtained from the (CSO) Central Statistical organization for the period from 1/2005 to 12/2015. The results proved that (WML) was the most reliable and efficient from the other estimators, also the results provide that the changing of fractional difference parameter (d) doesn’t effect on the results.

The aqueous extract of milk thistle (Silybum marianum) leaves as a green corrosion inhibitor for AA7051 aluminum alloy in sodium hydroxide solution was investigated at a range of temperatures. Potentiodynamic polarization findings exhibit a mixed–type inhibitor with directly increased inhibition efficiency with the concentration of inhibitor. The adsorption of the inhibitor on aluminum alloy obeys Langmuir isotherm and the kinetic as well as thermodynamic parameters were measured and discussed.
