In this paper, CdS/Si hetrojunction solar cell has been made by
Chemical Bath Deposition (CBD) of CdS thin film on to
monocrystalline silicon substrate. XRD measurements approved that
CdS film is changing the structure of CdS films from mixed
hexagonal and cubic phase to the hexagonal phase with [101]
predominant orientation. I-V characterization of the hetrojunction
shows good rectification, with high spectral responsivity of 0.41
A/W, quantum efficiency 90%,and specific detectivity 2.9*1014
cmHz1/2W -1 .
Isradipine belong to dihydropyridine (DHP) class of calcium channel blockers (CCBs). It is used in the treatment of hypertension, angina pectoris, in addition to Parkinson disease. It goes under the BCS class II drug (low solubility-high permeability). The drug will experience extensive first-pass metabolism in liver, therefore, oral bio-availability will be approximately15 to 24 %.

Where the characterization of radionuclides was done by hand held GeLi detector with an overall efficiency better than 42%. It was noted the most predominant contaminant are Cs-137, Co-60 and Pa-234.The radioactive waste in disposal silo has been divided into five categories according to the harmful effect of radionuclides.For the purpose of storageradioactive wastein a safe manner, it wassuggesteda new method by shielding radioactive waste in each category with concrete;where the thickness of shielding is the time required to reduce the annual dose to 10%.
Lipoxygenase was extracted from the cup of Pleurotus ostreatus ( Jaq : Fr ) oyster mushroom for the first time in Iraq, and purified homogeneously through precipitation with 40% saturation of (NH4)2SO4 as a partial purification then loaded on DEAE-Cellulose (Diethyl amino ethyl Cellulose) ion-exchange chromatography column and then the highly active elution parts have been passed through gel filtration column with Sephacryl S-300 as a final purification with 804 (U/mg protein) specific activity, 11.32 fold of purification and 36.54% yield . The molecular weight of the enzyme was estimated to 74 KDa by gel filtration Sephacryl S-300 column and the isoelectric point for enzyme was 5.3. Ni-Co-Mn-Mg ferrite nanoparticles with the formula (Ni,Co)xMn0.25-xMg0.75Fe2O4 were synthesized in this work by employing the sol-gel auto-combustion process, with nitrates used as the cations source and citric acid (C6H8O7) as the combustion agent. X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), energy dispersive X-ray (EDX), and a vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) were used to characterize the structural, morphological, and magnetic properties of ferrite powders. This work involves synthesis of amides containing isoxazoline unit starting with
chalcone; 4-[3-(3‾-nitrophenyl)-2-propene- 1-one]-aniline[I]. 4-Aminoacetophenone was
reacted with 3-nitrobenzaldehyde in basic medium giving chalcone [I] by claisen-schemidt
reaction. The chalcone [I] was reacted with hydroxylamine hydrochloride giving isoxazoline
[II] in NaOH basic medium. The amides with structural formula [III]a-h were prepared by the
reaction of amino compounds ; isoxazoline [II] with different acid chlorides in dry pyridine
