Methods: This was a cross-sectional study on patients with diabetes mellitus at Al-Yarmouk teaching hospital from January to December 2012, Iraq-Baghdad. The samples were characterized using powder XRD, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and electrochemical polarization.
