New speaker identification test’s feature, extracted from the differentiated form of the wave file, is presented. Differentiation operation is performed by an operator similar to the Laplacian operator. From the differentiated record’s, two parametric measures have been extracted and used as identifiers for the speaker; i.e. mean-value and number of zero-crossing points.
In this paper the design of hybrid retina matching algorithm that is used in identification systems is considered. Retina based recognition is apparent as the most secure method for identification of an identity utilized to differentiate persons.
The characteristics of Speeded up Robust Feature (SURF) and Binary Robust Invariant Scalable Key-Points (BRISK) algorithm have been used in order to produce a fast matching algorithm than the classical ones, those characteristics are important for real-time applications which usually need quick processing of a growing quantity of data. The algorithm is divided into three stages: retinal image processing and segmentation, extracting the lo

Show MoreOne hundred and sixty samples from saliva and dental plaque were sellected from patients with caries active at ages from (4-65) years from Umm Qasr Primary School and Al-Ameria Specialist Dental Center in Baghdad. 15 isolates belong to Streptococcus mutans were identified by biochemical tests and Vitek 2 compact system while 22 isolates identified by using Polymerase Chain Reaction ﴾PCR﴿ techniques and sequencing of 16SrRNA with 120 bp by using 16SrRNA the result confermed that these isolates were belong to S.mutans.
In a connected graph , the distance function between each pair of two vertices from a set vertex is the shortest distance between them and the vertex degree denoted by is the number of edges which are incident to the vertex The Schultz and modified Schultz polynomials of are have defined as:
respectively, where the summations are taken over all unordered pairs of distinct vertices in and is the distance between and in The general forms of Schultz and modified Schultz polynomials shall be found and indices of the edge – identification chain and ring – square graphs in the present work.
This work involves the preparation of high yield iminochalcon compounds (B1-B15) through two parts. The first part involves the preparation of 2,4-dihydroxy Chalcone (A1-A15) by the condensation of 2,4-dihydroxy acetophenone with aryl aldehyde in the presence of sodium hydroxide (40%) as a catalyst. The second part includes the preparation of iminochalcon from the condensation of p-hydroxy aniline with 2,4-dihydroxy chalcone derivatives )A1-A15) in the presence of some drops of conc. H2SO4. Thin-layer chromatography ((TLC) was used to control the chemical reaction . These new derivatives were characterized by using FT-IR and 1H-NMR spectroscopy. These synthesized

This study aimed to identify three samples of this genus in Mosul city in February and April 2019. Three species of Ganoderma were collected from three various trees including Eucalyptus, Morus, and Olea (olive) in Mosul City, Northern Iraq. Their identifications and their DNA sequences were genetically identified by using PCR techniques according to detect nuclear ribosomal internal transcribed spacer (ITS) regions. Results exhibited the finding of Ganoderma resinaceum, Ganoderma applanatum, and Ganoderma sp. This study is first attempt to identify Reishi Mushroom by molecular methods in Iraq. Thus, the current study is considered new good d

Forty autistic patients and 25 non-autistic as control group (5 unaffected sibling and 20 unrelated) with age range from 3 – 10 years were included in this study. Chromosomal DNA was extracted from blood samples followed by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) amplification of two targeted regions which include: (exon2-intron2-exon3) region and (exon 6) region of GABRB3 for subsequent DNA sequencing. Identical bands related to the targeted regions were present in all samples. A sample of PCR products of patients and controls were sequenced. Sequencing results re

Show MoreThe objective of study was determining the most prevalent Salmonella spp. and their antimicrobial susceptibility in broilers and laying chickens and their feed and drinking water in five chicken farms in Karbala, Iraq over the period from August to October 2020. A total of 289 samples, including 217 cloaca swabs, 46 water and 26 feed samples were collected. Salmonella spp. was identified firstly by routine diagnostic methods, followed by applying the API 20E kit, the Vitek2 system, and serology. There was significant differences in Salmonella prevalence among different types of samples, mainly cloaca swabs reported a high isolation rate (21.7%). In contrast, feed samples were completely free of contamination. The highest rate of isolation w

Show MoreSeveral efforts have been made to study the behavior of Total Electron Content (TEC) with many types of geomagnetic storm, the purpose of this research is to study the disturbances of the ionosphere through the TEC parameter during strong, severe and great geomagnetic storms and the validity of International Reference Ionosphere IRI model during these kinds of storms. TEC data selected for years 2000-2013 (descending solar cycle 23 to ascending cycle 24), as available from koyota Japan wdc. To find out the type of geomagnetic storms the Disturbance storm time (Dst) index was selected for the years (2000-2013) from the same website. Data from UK WDC have been taken for the solar indices sunspots number (SSN), radio flux (F10.7) and ionosp
