The charge density distributions (CDD) and the elastic electron
scattering form factors F(q) of the ground state for some even mass
nuclei in the 2s 1d shell ( Ne Mg Si 20 24 28 , , and S 32 ) nuclei have
been calculated based on the use of occupation numbers of the states
and the single particle wave functions of the harmonic oscillator
potential with size parameters chosen to reproduce the observed root
mean square charge radii for all considered nuclei. It is found that
introducing additional parameters, namely 1 , and , 2 which
reflect the difference of the occupation numbers of the states from
the prediction of the simple shell model leads to a remarkable
agreement between the calculated and experimental results of the
charge density distributions throughout the whole range of r.The
experimental electron scattering form factors for Ne Mg Si 20 24 28 , ,
and S 32 nuclei are in reasonable agreement with the present
calculations throughout all values of momentum transfer q .
Some physical and chemical characteristics of Jurf Al- Sakar drinking water plant in Babylon governorate have been studied. Seven locations for this plant were selected. These were the drinking water treatment plant source on Euphrates River before entering the plant, precipitation, filtration and collection tanks, and also after leaving the plant at distances of one meter, 4 and 8 km. The samples were collected bimonthly from October, 2002 to August, 2003. Some results match with the national and international standard characters while the other characters (Turbidity, total hardness, calcium, nitrate, phosphate and the biological oxygen demand values) were not match. We found that 4,5- diphenyl- 3(2- propynyl) thio- 1??-triazole [1? forms a complex with Pd (11) ion of ratio 1:1 which absorbs light in CH2CI2 at 400 nm, and 4,5- diphenyl- 3(2- propenyl) thio- 1,2,4- triazole [II] forms complexes with Pd (II) ion of ratio 1:1 which absorbs light at 390 nm, and of ratio 2:1 which absorbs light at 435 nm.
