The structure and optical properties of organic semiconductor bulk hetrojunction blend (NiPcTs/Alq3) thin films

The effect of heat treatment on the optical properties of the bulk heterojunction blend nickel (II) phthalocyanine tetrasulfonic acid tetrasodium salt and Tris (8-hydroxyquinolinato) Aluminum (NiPcTs/Alq3) thin films which prepared by spin coating was described in this study. The films coated on a glass substrate with speed of 1500 rpm for 1.5 min and treated with different annealing temperature (373, 423 and 473) K. The samples characterized using UV-Vis, X ray diffraction and Fourier transform Infrared (FTIR) spectra, XRD patterns indicated the presence of amorphous and polycrystalline blend (NiPcTs/Alq3). The results of UV visible shows that the band gap increase with increasing the annealing temperature up to 373 K and decreases with increase the annealing temperature to (423, 473)K respectively.

Copper Molarity Effect on the Optical Properties of Cu2CdSnS4 Quaternary Thin Films

 The quaternary alloy of Cu2CdSnS4 (CCSS) is one type of thin film materials that contributes to the field of photovoltaic devices manufacturing, the importance of which has not been commonly enlightened as most of the other materials. Effect Of heat Treatment On The Optical Properties Of CuInSe2 Thin Films

CuInSe2 (CIS)thin films have been prepared by use vacuum thermal evaporation technique, of 750 nm thickness, with rate of deposition 1.8±0.1 nm/sec on glass substrate at room temperature and pressure (10-5) mbar. Heat treatment has been carried out in the range (400-600) K for all samples. The optical properties of the CIS thin films are been studied such as (absorption coefficient, refractive index, extinction coefficient, real and imaginary dielectric constant)by determined using Measurement absorption and transmission spectra. Results showed that through the optical constants we can made to control it is wide applications as an optoelectronic devices and photovoltaic applications.

Effect of thermal annealing on the structural and optical properties of Sb2Se3 thin films

In this paper the effect of thermal annealing on the structural and optical properties of Antimony Selenide (Sb2Se3) is investigated. Sb2Se3 powder is evaporated on clean amorphous glass substrates at room temperature under high vacuum pressure (4.5×10-6 mbar) to form thin films. The structural investigation was done with the aid of X-ray diffraction (XRD) and atomic force microscopy (AFM). Effect of Doping Cu on the Structural and Optical Properties of (CdTe) Thin Films

Radiation Effect on the Optical& Structural Properties of CdTe: Zn thin Films

The Films of CdTe:Zn were prepared on a glass by using vacuum vapor deposition technique .The x-ray diffraction pattern revealed that the films have polycrystalline with FCC structure and the preferred orientation was along (111) plane.  The films were exposed to a low dose of gamma ray.(5µCi for 30 days) Transmission and absorptance spectra were recorded in the range of (400-1100) nm before and after irradiation. It was found that irradiation has a clear effect on the optical and structural properties which include the transmition and absorption spectra, extinction coefficient, refractive index, and the energy gap.

Effect of Thickness and Thermal Annealing on Optical Properties of Sb Thin films

Antimony (Sb) films are fabricated by depositing (Sb) on glass substrates at room
temperature by the method of vacuum evaporation with thickness (0.25 and 0.51m),
with rate of deposition equal to (2.77Å/sec), the two samples are annealed in a
vacuum for one hour at 473K. The optical constants which are represented by the
refractive index (n), extinction coefficient (k) were determined from transmittance
spectram in the near Infrared(2500-3500 )nm regions. The tests have been shown
that the optical energy gap increases with increasing of annealing temperature for
the two samples.

Studying the Effect of Annealing Temperature on Structural and Optical Properties of ZnSe Thin Films

 The effect of thermal annealing on some structural and optical  properties of ZnSe thin films was studied which prepared by thermal evaporation method with (550±20) nm thickness and annealing at (373,473)K for (2h), By using X-ray diffraction technique structural properties studied and showed that the films are crystalline nature and have ( cubic structure ) .From the observed results after heating treatment, We found that the annealing to perform decreases in grain size and increases in dislocation and observed the optical properties increase in absorption and decrease in transmission.
