Abstract: Objectives: To investigate the effect of temperature elevation on the bonding strength of resin cement to the zirconia ceramic using fractional CO2 laser. Background: Fractional CO2 laser is an effective surface treatment of zirconia ceramic, as it increases the bonding strength of zirconia to resin cement. Methods: Thirty sintered zirconia discs (10 mm diameter, 2 mm thickness) were prepared and divided to three groups (N=10) and five diffident pulse durations were used in each group (0.1, 0.5, 1, 5 and 10 ms). Group A was treated with 10 W power setting, group B with 20 W and group C with 30 W. During laser irradiation, temperature elevation measurement was recorded for each specimen. Luting cement was bonded to the treated zirconia surfaces and cured for 30 seconds. Shear bond strength was evaluated by a testing machine (universal) with bond failure mode determination. Results: The lowest temperature elevation measurement of the irradiated specimen which gave maximum shear bond strength was about 1.6±0.3 Ċ higher than ambient room temperature (27±0.2 ºC). Apparent micromechanical irregularities were seen in the treated samples and cracks formation with increased pulse duration and power setting were also observed. Conclusions: The temperature elevation is a vital factor in the surface roughness of zirconia ceramic with fractional CO2 laser irradiation and the lowest temperature elevation at best shear bond strength of zirconia ceramic to the resin cement is satisfied with the shorter pulse duration of 0.1 millisecond.
The research explored the impact of applying lean thinking With all that carries this term of goals, trends, principles, foundations and concepts, The possibility of applying it in institutions, including Ur public company, an industrial company, And the only one in Iraq specialized in the manufacture of cables, Electrical Wires and the aluminum industry ,Which has been applied to the curriculum of lean thinking , The problem of research is that the institutions, including the company (research sample), adopt and practice traditional administrative, financial and technical methods without relying on modern curricula and ideas, including the subject of our research, In order to achieve the research objectives, the research was divided int

Conception explains simple knowledge, while assent explains knowledge involving a judgment. The paper proceeded with the identification of the problem of relationship blurring between cognition and knowledge. The external and inner senses have explained the relationship between the stages of knowledge and cognition. The external senses receive stimuli and form primary conceptions. These conceptions transfer to the first part of the inner senses, which is common sense; it collects the sensations and transmits them to pictorial power. Secondary conceptions are f

Tunability of the band-pass filter implemented by applying different mechanical forces N on the micro-cavities splicing regions (MCSRs). The micro-cavity formed by using three variable-lengths of single-mode polarization-maintaining fiber with (8, 16, 24) cm lengths, splice between two segments of (SMF-28) with (26, 13) cm lengths, using the fusion splicing technique. Ellipsoidal shape micro-cavities experimentally achieved parallel to the propagation axis having dimensions between (12-24) μm of width and (4-12) μm of length. Many designers draw their designs from previous eras; which is the aim of this research as we propose designing fashion the mannequin for the category of young girls aged between (10-18). The costumes were inspired by Victorian women's costumes during the time period (1860-1890) and were subdivided into three time periods (1860-1870), (1870-1880), (1880-1890) forming three designs for each time period , analyzing the nine designs to achieve the creative , functional and aesthetic aspects that are appropriate for the age group (research sample). The study was performed on 60 hens aged 35 weeks, weighing 2-2.5 kg of the body was obtained and housed on a private poultry farm in north of Baghdad (Altaji) for a period of 9 weeks from 22 October until 22 December 2020. Hens were divided to three treatments (20 hens). The first was fed a basal diet free of aflatoxin. The 2nd fed on a contaminated diet with aflatoxin (14.6 ppb) while the 3rd fed as in the 2nd with 0.5% of Milk Thistle oil /kg feed.
