Low Fistula in Ano Treatment using Diode Laser 980nm
...Show More Authors

Anal fistula is an anorectal condition with over 90% of cases being
cryptoglandular in origin and occurring after anorectal abscesses. The traditional method of
treatment of an anal fistula is by excision or de roofing the tract awaiting complete healing.. Aim:
The aim of this study is to assess the efficacy of diode laser 980 nm in the treatment of low fistula in
ano. Methods: The study was performed between June 2019 to end of September 2019, at the
institute of laser for postgraduate study in Baghdad university. A cohort of ten male patients with a
provisional diagnosis of low type anal fistula were selected for this study and treated by interstitial
photothermal therapy of fistula epithelium by diode laser 980nm . They were ageing from 21-45
years. Results: The mean operative time was 18.9 minutes (range of 12-25) minutes. All patients
discharged after procedure to their home. No pain is presented by seven patients. Only three
patients reported a mild pain and occasional need for a pain killer. No patient complained of
incontinence anytime during postoperative period. The mean time for closure of the fistulae was
12.7 days(range of 7-18 days). Conclusions: The procedure described in this work indicate that it
may be possible to affect healing of a low anal fistula tract by mere photocoagulation of the tract
without excision or deroofing.

Network Congestion and Quality of Service Analysis Using OPNET
...Show More Authors

Congestion management features operate to control congestion once it occurs. One way that network elements handle an overflow of arriving traffic is to use a queuing algorithm to sort the traffic, and then determine some methods of prioritizing it onto an output link. Each queuing algorithm was designed to solve a specific network traffic problem and has a particular effect on the network performance. The work presented in this thesis deals with important issue that is the quality of service (QoS) techniques, which can be integrated to enhance the operation of the network. The quality of service is the collective effect on service performance, which determines the degree of satisfaction of a user of the service. In this thesis, packet sched

Sentiment Analysis of Twitter Users Using Deep Learning Models

This research suggests a robust and systematic way for Arabic Sentiment Analysis using a vast dataset of 66,666 text reviews. One of the main advantages of this study is that the dataset was perfectly balanced (33,333 positive samples and 33,333 negative samples). In machine learning, this 50/50 split is important because it eliminates class bias and enables the predictive model to treat both sentiment classes equally. As shown in the values of the metrics — overall accuracy, weighted precision, weighted recall, and F1 score — there is great similarity among them, indicating a stable and reliable assessment of the model's real potential throughout the Arabic dataset. Based on data profile, the average word count per review is 42.3

Password Authentication Using Modify Multi-Connect Architecture Associative Memory
...Show More Authors

Abstract: Password authentication is one of the mechanisms that are widely used to authenticate an authorized user. In this research proposed password authentication for both graphical and textual password by using new technique is Modify Multi-connect architecture (MMCA) algorithm for more efficient in speed and accuracy. Among 100 test the accuracy result is 100% for graphical and textual password to authenticate a user, and the process time to authenticate each user is 0.5 and 1 seconds for textual password and graphical password respectively.

A Framework for Predicting Airfare Prices Using Machine Learning
...Show More Authors

Many academics have concentrated on applying machine learning to retrieve information from databases to enable researchers to perform better. A difficult issue in prediction models is the selection of practical strategies that yield satisfactory forecast accuracy. Traditional software testing techniques have been extended to testing machine learning systems; however, they are insufficient for the latter because of the diversity of problems that machine learning systems create. Hence, the proposed methodologies were used to predict flight prices. A variety of artificial intelligence algorithms are used to attain the required, such as Bayesian modeling techniques such as Stochastic Gradient Descent (SGD), Adaptive boosting (ADA), Deci

A Review: Campus Violence Detection Using Deep Learning Models
...Show More Authors

This paper offers a systemic review of the deep learning methods to detect violence on campus, which is a critical issue in intelligent surveillance to improve the student safety and prompt cut off of violent accidents. The review reviews studies published 2018-2025, concentrating on model structure to detect fights, bullying, vandalism, and aggressive behavior on problematic campuses due to occlusion and light variations and complicated human interactions. The research design includes a comparative study of different deep learning networks, such as CNNs, RNNs, 3D CNNs, attention-based networks, transformers, graph neural networks, neuro-fuzzy, and multimodal systems and federated learning methods. The paper also assesses benchmark

Extraction of Phenol From Industrial Water Using Different Solvents
...Show More Authors

The analysis and efficiency of phenol extraction from the industrial water using different solvents, were investigated. To our knowledge, the experimental information available in the literature for liquid-liquid equilibria of ternary mixtures containing the pair phenol-water is limited. Therefore the purpose of the present investigation is to generate the data for the water-phenol with different solvents to aid the correlation of liquid-liquid equilibria, including phase diagrams, distribution coefficients of phenol, tie-lines data and selectivity of the solvents for the aqueous phenol system.

The ternary equilibrium diagrams and tie-lines

Secured multimedia data has grown in importance over the last few decades to safeguard multimedia content from unwanted users. Generally speaking, a number of methods have been employed to hide important visual data from eavesdroppers, one of which is chaotic encryption. This review article will examine chaotic encryption methods currently in use, highlighting their benefits and drawbacks in terms of their applicability for picture security.

Delignification of Date Palm Fronds using Modified Organosolv Technique
...Show More Authors

Abstract

In this study, modified organic solvent (organosolv) method was applied to remove high lignin content in the date palm fronds (type Al-Zahdi) which was taken from the Iraqi gardens. In modified organosolv, lignocellulosic material is fractionated into its constituents (lignin, cellulose and hemicellulose). In this process, solvent (organic)-water is brought into contact with the lignocellulosic biomass at high temperature, using stainless steel reactor (digester). Therefor; most of hemicellulose will remove from the biomass, while the solid residue (mainly cellulose) can be used in various industrial fields. Three variables were studied in this process: temperature, ratio of ethano

Green bell peppers, a staple in kitchens worldwide, are notorious for their short shelf life. Fortunately, a simple technology of an evaporative cooling system can offer a promising solution to extend their freshness and reduce spoilage. Extensive studies have been conducted to measure the shelf life of crops during cold storage by using different techniques, that control relative humidity. Evaporative cooling, air speed, and packaging used to store green pepper and compared with sustainability methods and non-packaging. The aim of the study was prolonging shelf life for at least seven days. The characteristics included weight loss (%), temperature (o
