Twelve albino mice was divided randomly into four groups comprising A through D injected with ceftazidime at sub MIC, Escherichia.. coli 11, Escherichia.. coli 11 with ceftazidime solution, and standard strain, respectively. Histopathological sections did not show any changes in respect to group A. however, group C suffered signs of infection less than those appeared in group B sections. The current study was achieved on the effects of laser energy and annealing temperature on x-ray structural and optical properties, such as the UV-Visible spectra of cadmium sulfide (CdS). The films were prepared using pules laser deposition technique (PLD) under vacuum at a pressure of 2.5×10^-2 mbar with different laser energies (500-800 mJ) and annealing at a temperature of 473K. X-ray diffraction patterns and intensity curves for the CdS showed that the formation of CdS multi-crystallization films at all laser energies. The optical properties of the films were studied and the variables affecting them were investigated in relation to laser energy and changes in temperature.

A comparison was conducted between two wells, Kt-1and Kt-2, in Kumait and two wells, Du-1and Du-2, in Dujaila oil fields that belong to Mishrif formation, southern Iraq.  Seismic inversion method was employed to detect oil and water reservoirs. The comparison included the behavior of acoustic impedance (AI) of fluids and the lithology with related petrophysical properties. The values of water saturation, Shale volume (Vsh), and effective porosity were compared between the AI,  two fluid reservoirs.
