Nanosilica was extracted from rice husk, which was locally collected from the Iraqi mill at Al-Mishikhab district in Najaf Governorate, Iraq. The precipitation method was used to prepared Nanosilica powder from rice husk ash, after treating it thermally at 700°C, followed by dissolving the silica in the alkaline solution and getting a sodium silicate solution. Two samples of the final solution were collected to study the effect of filtration on the purity of the sample by X-ray fluorescence spectrometry (XRF). The current study aimed to identify the quality of health services provided by the Omani health sector through the comparison between public and private hospitals in Dhofar Governorate, Oman. A questionnaire has been developed to collect data from 360 patients who received health services in one public Hospital (Sultan Qaboos) and three private Hospitals (Badr Al-Sama, Lifeline, and Al-Hakeeim). During 2011; 300 milk and white cheese samples were collected from Baghdad markets. Out of 200 staphylococcal isolates isolated from milk and white cheese samples, the predominant species was Staphylococcus aureus 97 isolates (48%), followed by S.chromogenes 82 (41%) and 21 (11%) S.epidermidis isolates. S. aureus isolates were DNase, coagulase, protease, urease, lipase, gelatinase and slime layer producers, other species were variable in the production of such virulence factors. S. chromogenes was the most prevalent isolated staphylococcal species from milk samples; while cheese samples contaminated mainly by S. aureus.
