Combination Effect of Laser, Antibiotics and Different Temperature on Locally Isolated Pseudomonas aeruginosa
...Show More Authors

In humans, Pseudomonas aeruginosa is the second most frequent gram negative nosocomial pathogen in hospitals and has the highest case-fatality rate of all hospital-acquired bacteremia because of the hardy resistance of these bacteria to mechanical cleansing as well as to disinfectant, and many antibiotics. The susceptibility of bacteria against the antibiotics is modulated by several local factors such as temperature which modified drug efficacy, so this study was carried out to evaluate the effect of different temperature (20,42,45)Ċon the susceptibility of Pseudomonas aeruginosa to the minimum inhibitory concentrations (MIC) of the antimicrobial agents before and after irradiation. The samples collected from 150 persons suffering from burns-wounds infections, thirty-five isolates of pseudomonas aeruginosa bacteria were obtained depending on morphological and biochemical tests. Following exposure of Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolates to the diode laser with 805nm wavelength,3W output power and (5,10,15) minutes exposure times in combination with different temperature and different concentrations of ( cefotaxim, amikacin, chloramphenicol) antibiotics, highly observable change in the MIC value was achieved , the bacterial isolates became sensitive to chloramphenicol at the three exposure times and 100% killing of the cells was observed at 15 minutes exposure time at temperature 45Ċ in absence of the antibiotics. In conclusion, 3W diode laser in combination with temperature 45Ċ was the best condition that reduces the MIC value, and killing bacteria at 10 minutes exposure time.
Introduction
Since the last century, the laser occupied a large degree of attention in the scientific and technological fields. Invention of laser causes a chain of important changes in the science development especially in physics, chemistry, biology and electronics, in addition to its industrial and medical applications. For this reason the laser enters in many fields and introduces solution to many problems.
Many lasers have been used successfully for treating many cases of infection that caused by bacteria such as E.coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The resistance of Pseudomonas aeruginosa to many antibiotics form a big problem, especially in burns and wounds infections. Many studies have been introduced to investigate the effect of laser on microorganisms,a lotof their were related to the susceptibility of bacteria to antibiotics. This work is a trial in this regard.
Pseudomonas aeruginosa
One of the most common microorganisms encounted in hospital infection. It was isolated from various sources like air, floor, sinks and even disinfectant (Iglewski, 1980).
Pseudomonas aeruginosa is frequently present in

Novel derivatives of 1-(´1, ´3, ´4, ´6-tetra benzoyl-β-D-fructofuranosyl)-1H- benzotriazole and 1-(´1, ´3, ´4, ´6-tetra benzoyl-β-D-fructofuranosyl)-1H- benzotriazole carrying Schiff bases moiety were synthesised and fully characterised. The protection of D- fructose using benzoyl chloride was synthesized, followed by nucleophilic addition/elimination between benzotria- zole and chloroacetyl chloride to give 1-(1- chloroacetyl)- 1H-benzotriazole. The next step was condensation reaction of protected fructose and 1-(1-chloroacetyl)-1H- benzotriazole producing a new nucleoside analogue. The novel nucleoside analogues underwent a second conden- sation reaction with different aromatic and aliphatic amines to provide new Schiff b

The role of the tax examiner's procedures in increasing or decreasing tax revenue : Applied research in the General Authority for Taxes
...Show More Authors

Abstract:

The tax is one of the elements of the general revenues of the state and contributes to covering its expenses. Taxes are imposed in most countries of the world. The tax proceeds depend on a set of factors that contribute either positively or negatively to the tax share by increasing or decreasing it. Therefore, the research aims to demonstrate the role of the tax examiner's procedures in achieving the validity of the taxable base and its reflection on the tax proceeds, as well as reviewing the tax examiner's procedures related to the tax return process. Examination and tax audit of the financial statements, as well as presenting the financial statements to an independent and i

Abstract

The purpose of our study was to develop Dabigatran Etexilate loaded nanostructured lipid carriers (DE-NLCs) using Glyceryl monostearate and Oleic acid as lipid matrix, and to estimate the potential of the developed delivery system to improve oral absorption of low bioavailability drug, different Oleic acid ratios effect on particle size, zeta potential, entrapment efficiency and loading capacity were studied, the optimized DE-NLCs shows a particle size within the nanorange, the zeta potential (ZP) was 33.81±0.73mV with drug entrapment efficiency (EE%) of  92.42±2.31% and a loading capacity (DL%) of 7.69±0.17%. about 92% of drug was released in 24hr in a controlled manner, the ex-vivo intestinal p

A Multi-modal Critical Discourse Analysis of Selected English Political Cartoons تحليل خطاب نقدي متعدد الوسائط لرسوم كاريكاتورية سياسية إنجليزية مختارة
...Show More Authors

This study analyses six political cartoons selected based on their relevance to current Iraqi political issues, specifically the period between 2005 and 2015, from American online newspapers (calgecartooms.com). The selection criteria included the cartoons' satirical elements, visual rhetoric, and their ability to engage with themes such as power dynamics, social issues, and public opinion. It sheds light on how these cartoons can function as mediators of meanings between the cartoonists and the readers. The data is examined using multimodal discourse analysis (MDA), which combines language study with the analysis of other visual elements, like colors, gestures, and images, to understand meaning (O’Halloran et al., 2011).
