This study investigates the treatment of used lubricating oils from AL-Mussaib Gas Power Station Company-Iraq, which was treated with different extractive solvents (heptane and 2-propanol). The performance activity of these solvents in the extraction process was examined and evaluated experimentally. Operating parameters were solvent to oil ratios of (1:2, 1:4, 1:6, and 1:8), mixing time (20, 35, 50, and 65 min), temperatures (30, 40, 50, and 60 ºC), and mixing speed (500 rpm). These parameters were studied and analyzed. The quality is determined by the measuring and assessment of important characteristics specially viscosity, viscosity index, specific gravity, pour point, flash point, and ash content. The results confirm that the solvent 2-Propanol gave great proficiency with the most elevated percent of sludge removal compared with heptane. The greatest percentage of waste removal is enhanced when the solvent/oil ratio increases with optimal economic aspects. The significant characteristics of the reused lubricating oil were estimated. The outcome of the results indicates that the adjustment of the characteristics of reused oil has great effectiveness and the best working conditions for 2-Propanol (35 min, 1:6 S/O ratio, 40 ºC), and heptane (50 min, 1:6 S/O ratio, 50 ºC).
Background:Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) problems refer to a group of heterogeneous pain and dysfunction conditions involving the mastication, reducing life quality of the patients. Arthrocentesis is a simple and less invasive surgical method for the treatment of inflammatory-degenerative disease than other conservative procedures and better than arthroscope. This clinical study aimed at evaluating the benefit of arthrocentesis with injection of hyaluronic acid in the management of inflammatory-degenerative disease of the TMJ. Material and methods: Eighty consecutive patients were enrolled in this study with pain symptoms of TMJ, insufficient masticatory efficiency during function and limitation of mouth opening; they were assessed with

Since oil and gas wells are stimulated often to increase output and maximum recovery, this has resulted in matrix acidizing is a less costly alternative to hydraulic fracturing; therefore, it is widely employed because of its low cost and the fact that it may restore damaged wells to their previous productivity and give extra production capacity. Limestone acidizing in the Mishrif reservoir has never been investigated; hence research revealed fresh insights into this process. Compared to traditional imaging and surface analysis methods, the primary reason for using 3D scanning is the difficulty of attaching targets to towers of varying heights, as well as the fact that some towers are covered with insulating materials that obscure key landmarks. In addition, the large number of incoming and outgoing pipes and stairs attached to the towers further complicates traditional assessment methods. This research focuses on assessing the damage to the three refining towers at the Baiji Refinery facility. Scanning was performed using a 3D laser scanner with HDR color imaging, capturing da

In terms of biostratigraphy, it consists of planktonic and suspended foraminifera, which comprise 37 species belonging to 17 genera. Based on the recorded planktonic foraminifera, three main biozones were identified: Globotruncana aegyptiaca Partial Zone, which refers to the age of the Late Campanian, Gansserina gansseri Partial Range Zone, which indicates the age of the Early Maastrichtian, and Abathomphalus mayaroensis Interval Zone, which indicates the age of the Late Maastrichtian. The Abathomphalus mayaroensis Interval Zone is divided into four subzones: Racemiguembelina fructicosa Partial Range

The casing, through its two basic essentials: casing design and casing depth adjustment, are fundamental to a unique wellbore that plays an important role in well integrity. Casing set depths are determined based on fracturing pressure and pore pressure in the well and can usually be obtained from well-specific information. Based on the analyzes using the improved techniques in this study, the following special proposition can be projected: The selection of the first class and materials must be done correctly and accurately in accordance with the
