Treating Wet Oil in Amara Oil Field Using Nanomaterial (SiO2) With Different Types of De emulsifiers
...Show More Authors

One of the most important problems in the oil production process and when its continuous flow, is emulsified oil (w/o emulsion), which in turn causes many problems, from the production line to the extended pipelines that are then transported to the oil refining process. It was observed that the nanomaterial (SiO2) supported the separation process by adding it to the emulsion sample and showed a high separation rate with the demulsifiers (RB6000) and (sebamax) where the percentage of separation was greater than (90 and 80 )%  respectively, and less than that when dealing with (Sodium dodecyl sulfate and Diethylene glycol), the percentage of separation was (60% and 50%) respectively.

The high proportion of (NaCl + distilled water) raises the probability of the separation efficiency as the separation was (88.5,79)% and (65.5, 55) %  for (RB6000, SebaMax)respectively with (SiO2) at 70 °C, while the results of separation were (77,85)% and (65,40)  for (RB6000, Seba Max) respectively with (SiO2) at 50 °C after 120 minutes, where the (w/o ratio) was (9:1) for the high separation results and (7:3) for the lower separation results, at a speed of (12000rpm), and with a salt concentration of (1500) ppm, and less of these results at lower volumetric and temporal conditions. The (NaCl) salt deals with the wall films separating the droplets and reduces their viscosity [1].

As for the pH factor, it is at the value (2 and 3) represent a stable emulsion that is difficult to separate easily, but with the passage of raising the pH away from the acidic medium and near to the basic direction, a significant increase in the separation process was observed compared with the acidic medium at lower values, after 120 minutes the separation seemed to be good efficient, reaching (60 and 70) % respectively, while at the same time the emulsion reached a more efficient separation level with a pH of (  8 and 7) equal to (80 and 87.3)  %, at 50 °C with SebaMax demulsifier in presence of (SiO2), and with the same pH values, an increase was observed in the separation with the increase in temperature to (70 °C), then it returns to be a reverse emulsifier when the value exceeds (10) to (11, 12, 13).

Effect of L-carnitine, Multivitamins and their Combination in the Treatment of Idiopathic Male Infertility
...Show More Authors

The aim of the present study is to investigate and compare the efficacy of L-carnitine, multivitamins and their combination therapies on semen characteristics in idiopathic male infertility. Idiophathic infertile patients were randomly divided into three groups who had received three different treatment regimens for three months: group A (45 patients) has received 2 grams daily of L-carnitine alone; group B (55 patients) had received the combination of  L-carnitine (2 grams daily) plus one tablet daily of multivitamins (Stresstabs®); and group C (29 patients) had received one tablet daily of multivitamins alone. The study was started on 1/11/2009 and completed on 31/3/2010 and performed at Rizgari Teaching Hospital in

The study of services in villages is one of the imperative matters that must   be focused on, because it leads to increased attention, which reduces the differences between the countryside and the urban. The extent of its.

It is well known that community services need to be reached by a person, unlike the anchor services that reach people, here the population distribution plays an important and prominent role in signing these services, so the dispersed distribution pattern and the gathering pattern appeared in the distribution, thus an effect on the time and distance that the person walked to obtain The services are community-based. Therefore

Sustainable Utilization of Machine-Vision-Technique-Based Algorithm in Objective Evaluation of Confocal Microscope Images
...Show More Authors

Confocal microscope imaging has become popular in biotechnology labs. Confocal imaging technology utilizes fluorescence optics, where laser light is focused onto a specific spot at a defined depth in the sample. A considerable number of images are produced regularly during the process of research. These images require methods of unbiased quantification to have meaningful analyses. Increasing efforts to tie reimbursement to outcomes will likely increase the need for objective data in analyzing confocal microscope images in the coming years. Utilizing visual quantification methods to quantify confocal images with naked human eyes is an essential but often underreported outcome measure due to the time required for manual counting and e

Environmental pollution of solid waste and methods of managing it Study in Ramadi Municipality Case
...Show More Authors

The current research aims at finding out how to properly and correctly manage waste and solid waste and reduce the difficulties faced by all countries. However, it is becoming increasingly acute in developed cities because their economies are growing rapidly. It is necessary to identify the modern methods used in developed countries in managing wastes. The use of modern waste management techniques is a coordinated effort by international agencies within the borders responsible for them. The problem of the study can be identified in the lack of clarity of environmental management procedures in place. The importance of the research contributes to providing greater capacity to the administrative and technical leadership in the municipality

The present study aims at knowing the reasons of the student of secondary school abstention from participation in the theatrical activity, and to know the reasons that resulted in this abstention. In addition to that, the study aims at knowing the differences according to variables (gender, scholastic stage, and major of study). The sample of the study was chosen from the secondary schools in Baghdad in the random manner from Al-Karakh and Al-Rusafa districts of (147) students. The questionnaire was used to collected data.
