To reduce the effects of discharging heated water disposed into a river flow by a single thermal source, two parameters were changed to get the minimum effect using optimization. The first parameter is to distribute the total flow of the heated water between two disposal points (double source) instead of one and the second is to change the distance between these two points. In order to achieve the solution, a two dimensional numerical model was developed to simulate and predict the changes in temperature distribution in the river due to disposal of the heated water using these two points of disposal.
MATLAB-7 software was used to build a program that could solve the governing partial equations of thermal pollution in rivers by using the finite difference technique. The distribution of temperature in the river was presented by using the SURFER software that was used to draw the temperature contour lines and computing the areas of critical temperature (The area where the temperature exceed a certain selected value, which is believed to be critical for aquatic life). The optimum case was that which gave the minimum critical area.
The decision variables are the subdivided flow of the two disposal points, and the distance between these two points. The result had indicated that the optimum case can be achieved when the flow of first point was 0.1 from the total flow of heated water and the second was 0.9 from this total flow. The optimal distance between the two points was found to be 30 m.
The aim object of research is to show the computerized services library of Salahaldeen University in Erbil city in Iraq, so the research treatment all side of library such as building, location ,staff ,finance, resource collection and services ,we refer to. problem which face library such as administration and finance through the using Of case study method, reference source ,meeting , online comment and data record .The study focus develop in library departments, users services, management ,staff, the resource collection, building and location.
The study ending with many results and recommendation to develop the library services by using modern Information system to all users inside and outside the university and link them with other
Scientists have mastered the codification of the hadeeth and authorship in it, and walked in a variety of courses, including what is known when the late books seal books, which is inclined by Sheikh Sheikh students in the last Council is reading a book of the books of the year or so, and mention a party from the translation of the book owner After that methodology of what he sees important, then speak to the last hadeeth in the book Sindh and Manta, and sometimes market attribution to the author of the book as did Suleiman al-Jamal (God's mercy) deceased in 1204 AH, in this seal on the true Imam Bukhari Which we will investigate and publish. The research aims to measure the psychological security of social working in the courts, to measure the motivation of achievement for social researchers working in the courts. In addition to, identify the Psychological security and its relation to the motivation of achievement for social researchers working in the courts. To achieve these aims, the researcher adopted two scales: Maslow scale for Psychological security, which was translated to Arabic by Dwany and Dirany 1983 consisted of (75) items. The second scale is Othman scale for achievement motivation 2014 consisted of (24) items. The two scales had been applied to a sample consisted of (100) social researchers working in the courts of Baghdad with its two branches Al-karkh and Al-

Show MoreThere are many diseases that affect the arteries, especially those related to their elasticity and stiffness, and they can be guessed by estimating and calculating the modulus of elasticity. Hence, the accurate calculation of the elastic modulus leads to an accurate assessment of these diseases, especially in their early stages, which can contribute to the treatment of these diseases early. Most of the calculations used the one-dimensional (1D) modulus of elasticity. From a mechanical point of view, the stresses to which the artery is subjected are not one-dimensional, but three-dimensional. Therefore, estimating at least a two-dimensional (2D) modulus of elasticity will necessarily be more accurate. To the knowledge of researchers, there i

The questionnaire was adopted as a main tool in the survey of the views of a sample of consumers in Baghdad governorate (100) people and analyzed their answers using the statistical program SPSS in calculating the mean and standard deviation Centigrade, correlation coefficient (R) and test ( ). The main findings of the research were:
- There is a positive and positive relationship between consumer purchasing behavior via the Internet and
Delivering therapeutic agents to the brain remains a major challenge due to the restrictive nature of the blood–brain barrier (BBB). Intranasal administration has emerged as a promising, non-invasive approach that bypasses the BBB and facilitates direct nose-to-brain transport via the olfactory and trigeminal pathways. In this study, we developed a nanostructured lipid carrier (NLC) system for the intranasal delivery of dolutegravir sodium, a potent integrase inhibitor, with the goal of enhancing brain bioavailability for the treatment of neuroHIV and related central nervous system (CNS) complications. The NLCs were optimized for particle size, polydispersity index (PDI), and drug incorporation efficiency. The optimized formulation exhibi

Objective The aim of the current study to determine if Zn administration affected the induction of MT-1 and MT-2 in the liver tissue in mice exposed to Cd. Materials and methods Metallothionein protein (MT) level in the tissue of male mice were detected using the anion -exchang high-performance liquid chromatography coupled (HPLC)assay and immunohistochemical staining. Results Single treatment to zinc or cadmium increase the level of MT in the liver, but zi

Many different kinds of noise exist in biomedical environment such as Power Line Interference Noise (PLIN). Adaptive filtering is selected to contend with these defects, the adaptive filters can adjust the filter coefficient with the given filter order. The objectives of this paper are: first an application of the Least Mean Square (LMS) algorithm, Second is an application of the Recursive Least Square (RLS) algorithm to remove the PLIN. The LMS and RLS algorithms of the adaptive filter were proposed to adapt the filter order and the filter coefficients simultaneously, the performance of existing LMS
