A lab-scale packed Bio film reactor was used for ethanol production by fermentation of sugar solution using a local
isolated yeast saccharomyces cerevisia and glutaraldelryde on gelating as a covalent bounding agent. In this study four
types of packing in the reactor were used. They are; polypropylene mesh, glass rashig rings, ceramic rashig rings and
glass beads. Glucose solutions were used as substrate with four concentrations; (5, I 0, I 5, 20 g/l). Results show that the
ethanol productivity was increase with increasing sugar concentration. Also it was found that polypropylene mesh
packing give the highest productivity while glass beads gives the lowest productivity. The experiments were conducted at
three temperatures; 30, 35, 40'C. Highest value of productivity was obtained at 35 C. Finally results show that ethqnol
productivity increased with increasing the feed ratio of yeast / sugar.

In this research, a new 1, 3, 4-Thiadiazole derivatives have been synthesized by many heterocyclic reactions. Starting from (2, 5 – dimercapto -1, 3, 4-Thiadiazole) a variety of derivatives have been synthesis. Compound (1) was synthesized by the reaction of hydrazine hydrate with carbon disulphide in absolute ethanol. In this work, an important sugar alkynyl ether has been synthesized in two subsequent steps starting from commercially available D-galactose (3). This kind of compounds is highly significant in the synthesis of biologically active molecules such as 1,2,3-triazole and isoxazoles. In the first step, galactose (3) was reacted with acetone in the presence of anhydrous copper (II) sulfate to produce 1,2:3,4-di-O-isopropylidene-α-D-galactose (4) in good yield. The mixed-spin ferrimagnetic Ising system consists of two-dimensional sublattices A and B with spin values and respectively .By used the mean-field approximation MFA of Ising model to find magnetism( ).In order to determined the best stabile magnetism , Gibbs free energy employ a variational method based on the Bogoliubov inequality .The ground-state (Phase diagram) structure of our system can easily be determined at , we find six phases with different spins values depend on the effect of a single-ion anisotropies .these lead to determined the second , first orders transition ,and the tricritical points as well as the compensation phenomenon .

Kp index correlates with the many magnetosphere properties, which are used to measure the level of magnetic activity. In the solar system, the two different planets, Mercury with weak magnetic field and Jupiter with strong magnetic field, are selected for this study to calculate the planet's magnetosphere radius (RMP) which represents the size of magnetosphere compared with solar activity through Kp index, through two types of geomagnetic conditions; quiet and strong for the period (2016-2018).
