Road-side dust samples were collected during August in 2020 from selected areas of, Al-Rusafa, Baghdad, Iraq. A sedimentological and mineralogical analysis of street dust was conducted. Three areas were selected to study street dusts which are Al-Baladitat, Al-Obaidi and Ziona. The laboratory analyses were done in the Department of Geology, College of Science, University of Baghdad. The heavy metal contents were determined in the roadside dust using XRF Method. It was found that the dust is of muddy texture, and is believed to be transmitted with the various storms blowing on Baghdad or by the wheels of Cars. The mixed ligand complexes of Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), Cd(II) and Hg(II) with alanine and 8-hydroxyqinoline (Oxine) were synthesized and characterized by FT-IR ,spectra electronic, flam-AAS] along with conductivity measurements , solubility , melting point, magnetic susceptipibility.The synthesized complexes were tested in vitro for antimicrobial activity. The results obtained indicated that some of these complexes are more active than with others.

A new series of transition metal complexes of Cu(II), Ni(II), Co(II) and Fe(III) have been synthesized from the Schiff base (L1) and (L2) derived from Semicarbazide hydro chloride and 4-chlorobenzaldehyde or 4-bromobenzaldehyde. The structural features have been arrived from their elemental analyses, magnetic susceptibility, molar conductivity, IR, UV-Vis. and 1H NMR spectral studies. The data show that the complexes have composition of [M(L)2](NO3)2 and [Fe(L)2 (NO3)2](NO3) where the M=Co(II),Ni(II) and Cu(II) ;L=L1and L2 type. The dynamics of a single condensing two-phase bubble of two different dispersed-continuous systems were studied. The systems were, CCl₄ - water and CCl₄ - 100% glycerol. Cinephotography was used to determine the change in height, diameter and time. These results were used to determine the experimental rise velocity of the bubble, which was compared with a theoretical one based on some equations used. It was found that the velocity of the first system remained almost constant, while it decreased gradually for the second system.

Examination of 241 specimens of two bee-eater species, Merops apiaster and Merops
superciliosus persicus reveal recording of Haemoproteus meropis (Zagar, 1945) emend.
Bennett, 1978 and H. manwelli Bennett, 1978 for the first time in Iraq. A new species
Haemoproteus hudaidensis sp. nov. is described. Microfilariae are also infected the two host
species. The results are discussed with the pertinent literature and the necessary comparision
of morphometric measurements of the recorded parasites with that previously reported is
provided along with a taxonomic key including the newly described haemoproteid.

This study, establishes two stochastic monotonicity results concerning the run length of an upper one –sided Exponentially Weighted Moving Average (EWMA) control charts, based on the logarithm of the sample variance, for monitoring a process standard deviation, these properties cast interesting light on the control chart performance, and their extension to other one –sided EWMA control charts.

Direct measurements of drag force on two interacting particles  arranged in the longitudinal direction for particle Reynolds numbers varying from J O to 103 are conducted using a micro-force measurement system. The effect of the interparticle distance and Reynolds number on the drag forces  is examined. An empirical equation is obtained to describe the effect of the interparticle distance (l/d) on the dimensionless drag.
