ABSTRACT: Polypyrrole and polypyrrole / silver nanocomposites were fabricated by in-situ polymerization employing Ammonium Persulphate as an oxidizing agent. Nanocomposites were synthesized by combining polypyrrole and silver nanoparticles in various weight percentages (0.1%, 0.5%, 3%, 5% and 7% wt.). Crystallographic data were collected using X-ray diffraction.  PPy particles were found to have an orthorhombic symmetry. The researcher chose the Republic of Iraq as an example for the oil countries and the Arab Republic of Egypt as an example for the non-oil countries to hold a comparison on the impact of monetary policies.

    Seven Zn-dithiocarbamate complexes were suggested as corrosion inhibitors. Density functional theory (DFT) was used to predict the ability of inhibition. Room temperature conditions were applied to suggest the optimization of complexes, physical properties, and corrosion parameters. In addition, the HOMO, LUMO, dipole moment, energy gap, and other parameters were used to compare the inhibitors efficiency. Gaussian 09 software with LanL2DZ basis set was used. Total electron density (TED) and electrostatic surface potential (ESP) were utilized to show the sites of adsorption according to electron density.

Thin films of GexS1-x were fabricated by thermal evaporating under vacuum of 10-5Toor on glass substrate. The effect of increasing of germanium content (x) in sulfide films on the electrical properties like d.c conductivity (σDC), concentration of charge carriers (nH) and the activation energy (Ea) and Hall effect were investigated. The measurements show that (Ea) increases with the increasing of germanium content from 0.1to0.2 while it get to reduces with further addition, while charge carrier density (nH) is found to decrease and increase respectively with germanium content.      This investigation aims to determine whether it is feasible to use the limestone rocks found in the Al-Samawa stone quarry in southern Iraq as the stationary phase in column chromatography separation. Together with the chromatographic application, the physical and chemical characteristics of the rocks are examined.
