Morphologies of ceramic hollow fiber membranes prepared by a combined phase-inversion and sintering method were studied. The organic binder spinning solution containing suspended Al₂O₃ powders was spun to a hollow fiber precursor, which was then sintered at elevated temperatures( 300 ˚C, 1400 ˚C, 25 ˚C) in order to obtain the Al₂O₃ hollow fiber membranes. The spinning solution consisted of polyether sulfone (PES), N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP), which were used as polymer binder, solvent, respectively. The prepared Al₂O₃ hollow fiber membranes were characterized by a scanning electron microscope (SEM). It is believed that finger-like void formation in asymmetric ceramic membranes is initiated by hydrodynamically unstable viscous fingering developed when a less viscous fluid (non-solvent) is in contact with a higher viscosity fluid (ceramic suspension containing invertible polymer binder). The effects of the air-gap (0 cm, 2 cm, 15 cm) on fibre morphology have been studied and it has been determined that viscosity due to change in air-gap is the dominating factor for ceramic systems.

A submodule Ϝ of an R-module Ε is called small in Ε if whenever , for some submodule W of Ε , implies . In this paper , we introduce the notion of Ζ-small submodule , where a proper submodule Ϝ of an R-module Ε is said to be Ζ-small in Ε if , such that , then , where is the second singular submodule of Ε . We give some properties of Ζ-small submodules . Moreover , by using this concept , we generalize the notions of hollow modules , supplement submodules, and supplemented modules into Ζ-hollow modules, Ζ-supplement submodules, and Ζ-supplemented modules. We study these concepts and provide some of their relations .
The main goal of this paper is to give a new generalizations for two important classes in the category of modules, namely the class of small submodules and the class of hollow modules. They are purely small submodules and purely hollow modules respectively. Various properties of these classes of modules are investigated. The relationship between purely small submodules and P-small submodules which is introduced by Hadi and Ibrahim, is studied. Moreover, another characterization of purely hollow modules is considered.
Tensile , thermal, and barrier properties of polylactide PLA-based
nanocomposite films that were prepared by solvent casting method with
polyethylene glycol (PEG), and alumina were studied. PLA/PEG blend showed
decrease in tensile strength and Young modulus but increased in elongation in
PLA/PEG and increased in crystalline of PLA but decrease in glass transition
