In this paper, a random transistor-transistor logic signal generator and a synchronization circuit are designed and implemented in lab-scale measurement device independent–quantum key distribution systems. The random operation of the weak coherent sources and the system’s synchronization signals were tested by a time to digital convertor.

Concentrations of radon were measured in this study for twenty-four samples of soil distributed in six locations on the north part of Iraq. The radon concentrations in soil samples measured by using alpha-emitters registration that emits from Radon (222Rn) in (CR-39) track detector. The concentrations values were calculated by a comparison with standard samples. The results shows that the radon gas concentrations in Darbandikhan City varies from (16.60-34.04 Bq/m3), Halabja City (16.51-23.32 Bq/m3), Al Sulaimaniya City (17.61-32.25 Bq/m3), Koisnjaq City (22.04-35.65 Bq/m3), Shaqlaua City (21.10-29.10 Bq/m3) and Erbil City (22.30-34.63 Bq/m3). The average radon gas concentration in Al Sulaimaniya and Erbil governorate are (22.30 Bq/m3)

Simplification of new fashion design methods

Dentures that are not cleaning and maintained properly may prone to contamination by different microbial pathogens that result in several oral conditions. This study was design to compare the antimicrobial effect of different denture cleansers oxalic, tartaric, citric acids and alkaline peroxide with microwave irradiation on the growth of Candida albicans and Staphylococcus aureus respectively. Microwave oven used to disinfect specimens of heat-activated acrylic resin and soft linear. Oxalic, citric, tartaric acids, and alkaline peroxide were also used. Microorganisms that tested were Candida albicans and Staphylococcus aureus separately. Treatment with microwave or tartaric acid could achieve sterilization of both hot cured acrylic resins

This research investigates the methods of producing Investigative Arabic Television Programs that are able to prove its existence during a short period of time as a form of Television programs on Arab satellite channels growing in number and varied in content. The research aims to present qualitative and quantitative descriptions of the methods used in tackling the topics discussed in the program, and knowing whether they satisfy the conditions and scientific foundations for the research, investigation, analysis, and interpretation. In this work, an estimation of the key rate of measurement-device-independent quantum key distribution (MDI-QKD) protocol in free space was performed. The examined free space links included satellite-earth downlink, uplink and intersatellite link. Various attenuation effects were considered such as diffraction, atmosphere, turbulence and the efficiency of the detection system. Two cases were tested: asymptotic case with infinite number of decoy states and one-decoy state case. The estimated key rate showed the possibility of applying MDI-QKD in earth-satellite and intersatellite links, offering longer single link distance to be covered.

Estimating the semantic similarity between short texts plays an increasingly prominent role in many fields related to text mining and natural language processing applications, especially with the large increase in the volume of textual data that is produced daily.
