Solar energy has significant advantages compared to conventional sources such as coal and natural gas, including no emissions, no need for fuel, and the potential for installation in a wide range of locations with access to sunlight. In this investigation, heterocyclic derivatives were synthesized from several porphyrin derivatives (4,4',4",4"'-(porphyrin-5,10,15,20-tetrayl) tetra benzoic acid) compound (3), obtained by reaction Pyrrole with 4-formyl benzoic acid. Subsequently, porphyrin derivative-component amides 5a, 5b, and 5c were produced by reacting compound (3) with amine derivatives at a 1:4 molar ratio. These derivatives exhibited varying sensitivities for utilization in solar cells, with compound 5a displaying the highest power conversion efficiency (PCE) at 1.37%, as determined by measuring the short circuit current (Jsc), open-circuit voltage (Voc), and fill factor (FF) (Jsc = 2.24 mA cm-2, Voc = 0.80 mV, FF = 76.5%). Meanwhile, compound 5c exhibited the lowest PCE at 0.94% (Jsc = 1.55 mA cm-2, Voc = 0.750 mV, FF = 76.4%).
Well-dispersed Cu2FeSnSe4 (CFTSe) nanoparticles were first synthesized using the hot-injection method. The structure and phase purity of as-synthesized CFTSe nanoparticles were examined by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Raman spectroscopy. Their morphological properties were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The average particle sizes of the nanoparticles were about 7-10 nm. The band gap of the as-synthesized CFTS nanoparticles was determined to be about 1.15 eV by ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) spectrophotometry. Photoelectrochemical characteristics of CFTSe nanoparticles were also studied, which indicated their potential application in solar energy water splitting.
The increasing demand for energy has encouraged the development of renewable resources and environmentally benign fuel such as biodiesel. In this study, ethyl fatty esters (EFEs), a major component of biodiesel fuel, were synthesized from soybean oil using sodium ethoxide as a catalyst. By-products were glycerol and difatty acyl urea (DFAU), which has biological characteristics, as antibiotics and antifungal medications. Both EFEs and DFAU have been characterized using Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, and 1H nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) technique. The optimum conditions were studied as a function of reaction time, reactant molar ratios, catalyst percentage and the effect of organic solvents. The conversion ratio of soybea

The ligands [H2L1] and [H2L2] have been prepared from the reaction of the cyclic thioester 2-oxo-1, 4-dithiacyclohexane (compound 1) and 3-chloro-2-oxo-1, 4 dithiacyclohexane (compound 2) with 2-aminomethanepyridine in (1:1) ratio respetively. The reaction was carried out in chloroform at room temperature and under N2 atmosphere. Structural formula of these two ligands have been reported.
Chromene is considered a fused pyran ring with a benzene ring, which is found in many plants and is part of many important compounds such as anthocyanidins, anthocyanins, catechins, and flavanones. These compounds are included under the headings "flavonoids" and "isoflavonoids." These compounds are well known as bioactive molecules with wide medicinal uses. According to these pharmacokinetic characteristics, many researchers are giving more attention to this type of compound and its derivatives. Many chromene derivatives have been synthesized to study their biological effects for the treatment of many diseases. Furthermore, the researcher displayed wide interest in finding new methods for synthesizing chromene derivatives. These met

Show MoreThe objectives of this study were to assess the potential of platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) on acceleration of soft tissue healing after tooth extraction and to evaluate its effectiveness in reducing the prevalence of dry socket among smoker patients. Twenty smoker male patients aged (18–72) years with multiple teeth extraction were participated in this clinical research. They underwent trans-alveolar extraction of 40 teeth. The extraction sockets were divided in each patient into 2 groups: the study group in which extraction sockets were treated with PRF and the control group: in which extraction sockets left to heal naturally without PRF. Guanine has a variety of roles in chemistry, from its basic function in the storing and transferring genetic information to its usages in synthetic chemistry and other fields. Because of its distinct structure and biological importance, it is a fundamental component of contemporary study in organic chemistry and molecular biology. In this review, we focused on covering the synthetic pathways of various derivatives of guanine from the year 2000 until the present. As a result of the guanine molecule containing multiple functional groups, this gives us the ability to prepare several guanines such as O6-alkylating guanines, O6-benzylguanines, 8-aza-O6-benzylguanines, 9-substituted guanines, guanine-azo derivatives, guanine Schiff bases, guanin
