Anastatica hierochuntica L. is distributed throughout Arabain Peninsula, and elsewhere it is locally called "Kuffe Maryam" .All parts of the plant are used in folk medicine. This study amid to investigate the effect of aqueous extract of anastatica hierochunctica L. on the cancer cell lines AMN-3. Anti cancer activity of aqueous extract of anastatica hierochunctica L. showed anticancer activity against AMN-3 cell line for twelve concentrations (0.04, 0.09, 0.195, 0.39, 0.78, 1.56, 3.125, 6.25, 12.5, 25, 50, 100) mg/mL in comparison with negative control.

Road-side dust samples were collected during August in 2020 from selected areas of, Al-Rusafa, Baghdad, Iraq. A sedimentological and mineralogical analysis of street dust was conducted. Three areas were selected to study street dusts which are Al-Baladitat, Al-Obaidi and Ziona. The laboratory analyses were done in the Department of Geology, College of Science, University of Baghdad. The heavy metal contents were determined in the roadside dust using XRF Method. The conceptual study of the achievements of the heat transfer is performed under effects of bottom heating by constant heat flux (q=150,300,450,600W/m2 ) for three heaters size (0.2,0.14,0.07)m with symmetrically cooling with constant temperature on two vertical walls and adiabatic top wall.     This histological study was carried out to compare between the thyroid gland of mice (as a model of the mammals) and the thyroid tissue of fish.  Unlike mice, the thyroid gland of fish can't be recognized by naked eye.  The present study revealed that the thyroid of mice varied from that of fish by the location and the histological structure. The study classified the physiological state of the thyroid of mice into three states and that of the fish into only two states. Accordingly, the study concluded that the metabolism of thyroid fish was of moderate type.
