Foreign direct investment (FDI) has been viewed as a power affecting economic growth (EG) directly and indirectly during the past few decades. This paper reviewed an amount of researches examining the relationships between FDI and EG, especially the effects of FDI on EG, from 1994 up to 2012. The results show that the main finding of the FDI-EG relation is significantly positive, but in some cases it is negative or even null. And within the relation, there exist several influencing factors such as the adequate levels of human capital, the well-developed financial markets, the complementarity between domestic and foreign investment and the open trade regimes, etc.
A simple, rapid and environmentally friendly dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction method-based spectrophotometric method for the trace determination of folic acid has been developed. The proposed method is based on the formation of a deep yellow product via reaction of folic acid and 1,2-naphthoquine-4-sulfonate at pH = 9. The formed complex was extracted using a mixture of chloroform and ethanol. Then, the tiny organic droplets were measured at λ = 520 nm. At the optimum conditions, linearity was ranged from 0.05 to 1.5 μg/mL for the standard and samples, with a linear correlation coefficient of 0.9996. The detection limits were 0.02, 0.027, 0.03, 0.02 and 0.04 μg/mL for standard, tablet (5 mg), tablet (1 mg), syrup and fl

(MgO)1-x(ZnO)x compounds were produced by mixing the two oxides powders accordance to the atomic ratios and compressed as pellets, these pellets were sintered in an oven at temperature1273K for five hours. Thin films from (MgO)1-x(ZnO)x compounds were obtained using pulsed laser deposition technique using Nd:YAG laser . The results of x-ray diffraction as well as UV-Visible- spectrophotometer measurements transmittance of (MgO)
Introduction: We aimed to assess the impact of adhesive and wires types on the tensile bond strength of fixed lingual retainers. Methods: A total of 160 intact bovine teeth were collected, cleaned, stored in 25% sodium hypochlorite, and randomly assigned to two groups based on the adhesive type: a two-step adhesive and a one-step adhesive. Each group was further divided into four subgroups based on the type of lingual retainer wire, which included (A) 8-strand braided stainless steel wire, (B) three-strand titanium retainer wire, (C) stainless steel chain, and (D) fiber-reinforced retainer. A tensile bond strength test was conducted using a universal testing machine at a controlled speed of 10 mm/min. Result: The 8-strand braided stainles

One of the important axioms of separation is what is called regularity, and the spaces that have this property are not few, and the most important of these spaces are Euclidean spaces. Therefore, limiting this important concept to topology is within a narrow framework, which necessitates the use of generalized open sets to obtain more good characteristics and preserve the properties achieved in general topology. Perhaps the reader will realize through the research that our generalization preserved most of the characteristics, the most important of which is the hereditary property. Two t

Scientific progress and the development of cities have imposed diseases that have spread due to this development, perhaps the most prominent of which is diabetes for accurate diagnosis without examining blood samples and using image analysis by comparing two images of the affected person for no less than a period. Less than ten years ago they used artificial intelligence programs to analyze and prove the validity of this study by collecting samples of infected people and healthy people using one of the Python program libraries, which is (Open-CV) specialized in measuring changes to the human face, through which we can infer the

The problem was the negative effects of the organizational silence on the morale of the employees and consequently their performance and the quality of function life. To collect the data and information needed to measure the two variables of research conducted in the health center / Sulaikh by taking a sample of (40) employees to test the hypotheses of research through the survey of their views, using statistical tools non parametric using the program. At the beginning of the nineties of the last century, the church had been performed a different role in its relationship with the state, and it had an effect over the internal and foreign policies for the Russian Federation. In political history of Russia, the church’s existence became an evident too much in comparing with the previous historical period, starting with the educational and political system, whether through a symbolic participating roles as what happened in the inauguration ceremony to take over responsibility of the head of state or taking actual roles such as influencing on the process of holding elections d

The findings showed that all the males have extrinsic motivation in all four skills. On the other hand, females differ among themselves in their motivation. In conclusion, it is also the teachers‟ responsibility to guide and direct their learners to achieve better outcomes in learning the four EFL skills.
